If Yanks get Machado would you do Rodon for Andujar plus Sauer or Loaisiga?
-
All later games. Kopech and Lambert on the hill.

Adams to pitch for AAA

I also think the minor league hitting coaches matter more. By the time you are in the majors, you have tens of thousands of swings so changing is hard. Steverson's hitting camps are the right idea IMO to teach philosophies to the hitters on the way up. I am old enough to miss Charlie Lau.

Great start for Guerrero at AAA. 6.2 scoreless 7k 1w

In a shocker, the DSL team has already lost. All other games tonight.

It was a good review although it is amazing the number of injuries especially up high in the rankings. I don't know how other systems compare and/or if it seems bad because we are following the minors more closely.

Tanner Banks was pretty good. 6ip 3 er 1w 10k. At 25 in AA, this is a very big moment for him. Left handed helps but like many fringe guys, produce or be passed over by the coming waves.

Palka's last 30 games, over 50% K rate. Impersonating Davidson?
-
Most playoff contenders are still looking for pitching help, any wonder why the sucky teams have less?
-
You will also need to factor in 40 man issues. We are going to have many close calls and will lose people we like the next couple years in the rule 5 draft. I would not expect acquiring players who need to be on the 40 man right away(fall), maybe one, but expect most to be guys a couple years away from requiring protection.

No triple A game. Flores going for Birmingham. DSL rained out(mercy raining?)

High A doing well. Gonzalez, Rivera, and Rutherford with hits

I am a diehard fan. I do not change teams and have been with the Sox since Bill Veeck. I am an optimist and I support the rebuild. I now go to the minor league box scores first. There are enough prospects and teams that everyday I can find something good...........then I look at the big club.

This has come up on several of our prospects, especially the foreign born ones. With the pittance they are paid, it makes no sense not to have a free, healthy food spread at every level. Teaching that for all the players would be useful and it doesn't have to be expensive. Eating fast food is not only often unhealthy, it is expensive compared to cooking it yourself.

I was hoping it was just Henzman's day to throw and they needed a body. Hickman's line was not impressive at 4ip 7ER 7h 2w 1k. He is a year plus older than Henzman(Hickman 24yo. ) I remember him being a notable pick at the time.
-
I am glad he wanted to stay in. But coming off shoulder surgery, game in hand, let's not push it. He has nothing but positives to take away.

Hope thats it for Carlos today. Solid solid start.

Scared to start this thread after yesterday although describing Dunning as having a sore elbow sounds better than what many initially were saying. Fingers crossed. Guy has probably got the highest floor of our prospects.

No draft picks from this year made it
Probably because Madrigal is still playing so hasn't signed. Not eligible to rank.

He's statistically having one of the worst offensive seasons in the history of baseball for a full time player.
Good lord, there has been worse over that many at bats!?!

Don't love those solo shots but 11 K and 1 BB is really, really encouraging.
Agree hard to call it anything other than progress.
