Strains generally graded 1-3. Grade one is the least damage. Usually no tear and more of a stretched injury progressing all the way to Grade Three which is a complete tear. Would think this is a rest, NSAID, ice plus or minus steroid injection but I will defer to ptatc.

LOL. I misread the title and thought we were ranked 28th out of 26. I was guessing some bastard ranked two AAA teams better. Yes, I am aware there are 30 teams, like I said a misread.

The Sox lost the gamble after 2023. You are now gambling that if he has a good start to the year and doesn't get hurt, you might get 60-70 percent of value instead of 50 percent. If he starts bad or gets hurt, then you are at 20-30 percent of value. Since the thread started with Sox asking for multiple top prospects, 50 percent might be one good prospect- 50FV. If he is good, maybe two 50FV or a 55 and a 50 if you get a bit of a bidding war. 20-30 percent probably a prospect who is older /hurt and has lost luster or a 45 value.

Osleivis Basabe, A 24 yo who has primarily played ss along with 3b, 2b and some OF has been DFA'd by the Rays. Think I prefer to Amaya. I mean he is a Basabe!

The MLB story mentioned his pitching in game three 2005 WS after some beer and beers were brought out to the panel. He bought beers for all in the room.....that is just so Mark Buehrle! I remember reading stories of him taking rookies to a tailor in NYC and buying them suits.

Spending over would definitely represent a change in philosophy. I just don't want to see the time limit expire and not have spent or traded our allotment.
