A 22yo who is in A ball, hasn't been healthy previously, last played in May . MLB FV 40

Hayes OPS+ 59 this year and 61 last and owed 9 million a year for 4 yrs with back issues. Rogers a flip candidate while Stafura is a 50FV shortstop. I think huge win for Pittsburgh. Small market/dollar spender gets out from contract. Like someone giving us a good prospect for Benintendi.

Maybe better return than it could have been. Not sure where this guy would slot in the Sox system, but maybe not as high as 18th as he is in the Yankees'.
not sure. per MLB ranking, he was the second highest 40FV player with the NYY. Bergolla is our first 40FV at #13. Pallette is 14 for comparison.

If Robert finishes the year healthy, opsing .800+ the last couple months, if you pick up ten million of his 20 option, could you get a haul? Think that is the question vs take best offer. Figure first scenario less than 20%

And to be clear, it's not because of the lower seating capacity in Sacramento. The A's aren't even close to selling out their minor league park. Here's one look at the problems they're having there.

I think on some of our smaller trades, you take BPA. Best prospect available in a trade and don't drop a tier just to get position players. No knock on above proposal, just a general comment. Robert or especially if there is a Taylor deal is when I would push for position players. Astros system is weak. One 55 and two 50 FV players per MLB. Get best you can with them.

following a leadoff walk and sac bunt, Wolkow gets the rare double with the runner on second only making it to third.

Jimmy, thanks again for summary. Could you look at the draft tracker numbers for the fourth round pick. States slot 722, signed nearly 1.1 but says 21k overage.

Syndergaard with the start at AAA. Have to think if he does well that post. trade deadline he may be up. Anyone know velocities on him? previous reports had that as an issue. Low 90's I believe.

If they offered Abel it should have been taken or pivot to Nori with a sweetner like Mendez or Graves
