  1. At least Bryan Ramos finally got off the schnide. 2 hits including a homer tonite. Brooks Baldwin 4 more knocks. Hose

that guy down. He might burst into flames.

The Chicago White Sox, as an organization, aren't some dude sitting in his underwear, shitposting on the internet. They have to field a team. They can't field a team that will go 3-159, and then shitpost. They have to create some semblance of chance of winning to be able to lure casual fans into the ballpark. Nobody cares what you wanted this OFFSEASON. Why don't you send a resume to the White Sox? I'm sure they would be most interested in your concept of players that "blow" and of players that "don't blow".

You had included Erick Fedde in your list of players who "blow" before ST, and now, somehow, you don't. I suppose you predicted that, somehow.

I beg to differ. The Sox as an organization are some dude sitting around in their under wear.

  3. Sox have too many old 5th outfielder types on the roster. It really doesn't matter as far as win-loss totals. If Terrell Tatum keeps playing

well for another 3-4 weeks, one outfielder should be launched into the sun. Tatum might never be a full time starter in the bigs, but he

could be a very useful 4th OFer in a year of two. Plays all outfield positions, takes a lot of walks, hits left handed and steals some bases.

He could be a productive platoon candidate soon. None of the Grossman group will help if we ever turn this train wreck around.

  4. I remember AV's rookie year. The last month or two he looked like he was on the verge of breaking out. Now he looks like the worst player in MLB.

His patience is gone, and he swings at everything. Lefty or righty doesn't matter anymore. Send him down or trade him. The Sox ruined this guy

with the poisonous atmosphere that surrounds our organization.

he's already been a failure in Chicago, why would it be any different this time?

You don't Know what happened do you? Best utility guy since Pablo Ozuna. Had his career almost ended by a lousy left fielder. Guess who?

  6. Time for Danny Mendick. Start him at 3rd and leave him alone for a month. He deserves to be here more than a few other guys.

It's a feel good story, and he can play the corners in the outfield too.

  7. AV and Benni to Charlotte. Maybe AB refuses and we get out of his contract. No one in the minors is ready of course, but Grossman and Pham

on the corners would be better than what we have now. Colas could be next if Grossman flames out quickly. Nothing to lose.

  8. Drew Thorpe on the bump tonight. Going for 3rd win in 3 starts. He might be promoted to the bigs with no stop at AAA. Charlotte

can make any pitcher look like garbage. Let alone a finesse guy.

I don't think the system is that good but there are a lot of useful players, I could see many guys outside the top 10 turning into good major leaguers.

The issue is, what has already been discussed ad nauseum, actually developing those players. Especially hitters. I feel fairly confident in this team's ability to develop a pitching staff and the system is weighted toward pitching. But a lot has to go right for the Sox to turn 4 or 5 of those position players into every day players. It would be nice if Colson could stick at SS while Gonzalez and Ramos pan out and can play 2B and 3B respectively.

Hopefully the idea is to pump up our pitchers' value and trade them for guys who can hit and balance out the system. The Mena trade was the right idea, just wasted on a pointless player. Kopech seems like the likeliest candidate to bring back a good player.

A lot does have to go right, that's true. The one thing in our favor this time is, all of our position guys

possess a strong knowledge of the strike zone. That couldn't be said of the last group. Couple that with the fact that

all 5 players in this group play premium defensive positions, at least to start. That seems like a very big advantage

    going forward.

Normally I would say, “Oh crap! Sorry for ruining that.”  However, you might find more excitement pulling weeds or cleaning out a fridge.

My son put on the Sox jersey he got for his birthday and wanted to watch a few innings before bed.  He looked at the score and said, “The Sox aren’t good at scoring runs, but the teams we play are.”  Someone asked why I got the jersey blank.  I said it was like $30 cheaper, and I wasn’t confident any of the actual options we could get would be on the team for the entire year or into the future.

In a month or so, you can use the 30$ to buy 4 box seats behind the dugout to a friday night game on stub hub. Of course then you might feel

    obligated to attend.

How can this keep happening? One week into the season and Eloy and Robert are both hurt. Can you imagine being a player or coach on this team? How can you even pretend you have a chance to win when you take the field? p.s. Can you believe how bad a hitter Beni is?

AB looks lost. If he keeps going like this, he might be released. LOL-59 million reasons tell me he'll be around a long time.
