Guest hotsoxchick1 Posted December 8, 2002 Share Posted December 8, 2002 ok i just got off the phone with gug.... he emailed frank and heres what he had to say......technically its a three year deal... not a one year deal.... there are options on both sides to do certian things at the end of this year, but he is signed till 2006 plain and simple( i understand that much at least lol).. ill have him foward me the email or better yet just come on here and explain it all himself.... as im still confused as to whats what........lol......... mac9001 Posted December 8, 2002 Share Posted December 8, 2002 This is how it works: First Frank get the choice to invoke his option at 6 mil, if he declines, then the Sox's still have a chance to invoke there option at 8 mil, or they could let him go and he becomes a FA.
