Nobody is going to ever confuse Roy as a gameday coach. He recruits, gets the team in his system, and then prays on gameday and saves his timeouts to sell on the black market.

Even with the s***ty officiating I thought he cost UNC the game today. Horrid player rotations and zero adjustments in the second half. When he finally went small having Meeks in the game for Johnson was criminal with what a disaster Meeks was tonight. And then on that last play Johnson was guarding the basket so why is Hicks in the game (also their defensive alignment there was just horrendous) over a guy like Pinson when you need to defend the perimeter.

Lol. Dick Vitale didn't think the defense was bad on that last play. Yeah, never guarding the other team's best 3 pt shooter and giving him a clean look at a 3 is great defense.

The defense could have been better, but give credit where it's due. Great play call executed to perfection. The best is that Jay Wright barely even reacted when the shot went in.

It was a great shot but it is also one that a really good shooter like Jenkins makes at a fairly high clip. He was never guarded and got to step into a 3 in rhythm with only a really late contest by Hicks. That just shouldn't happen. Carolina got beat by Villanova's best 3 pt shooter who they never at any point guarded on the play and he got a wide open look.

Sad part is that Marcus Paige just made an even better shot, and it will be forgotten. Jay Wright is a classy as hell coach though, have a feeling this will be the first of 2-3 championships for him.
