. . . include the 1970s era Chicago White Sox.

Does anyone remember this? Anyone know how it might have helped baseball players and teams?

Russell “Bucky” Dent, a baseball player with the Chicago White Sox, began studying the Silva Method in 1975. In 1978 he was named Most Valuable Player at the World Series. Dent has been quoted as saying, “The Silva Method helped me with my concentration, and it helped me to relax before the pressures of a game.” To this day, many world-class athletes use the principles of The Silva Method to visualize their desired outcomes, improve focus and keep their minds and bodies in optimal condition. Silva has an especially huge following in sports that encourage a mind-body approach to physical excellence. - See more at: http://www.silvalifesystem.com/lp/silva-me...e.com&otag=[sLS-TB]#sthash.khkJM9QM.dpuf

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 12:42 PM)
If they did it as a team, they should get their money back. The 70's sucked for White Sox baseball.

Besides Dent being MVP, there wasn't m,uch to cheer about. I'm surprised Silva would brag about that.
