I slept through the "inland hurricane" in Carbondale that basically destroyed the whole town 4 years back.

I remember rain hitting my bedroom window hard, sounded like somebody spraying my house with a fire hose,

 

My sisters condo was destroyed, her bf is a local police officer, three buffalo grove officers drive down here and gave him an envelope full of gift cards, pretty cool
