Ramos with a double. Don't let this man get hot.
Now that he's turning it on hopefully he'll be starting in Chicago by the latter part of the season.

Looks like Jacob Gonzalez's adjustments are paying off somewhat.
Yep...Gonzalez with a double so far tonight.
Jimmy called it.

Very nice. He was reportedly looking very good at LSU before his TJS so they bought low on him.....Hopefully it pays off.

Very glad to see Ramos starting to get it going.

There is plenty to be encouraged about in the minors at least.

Who had Bush figuring his s%*# out before Eder on the 2024 bingo card?
BTW, those who are watching Birmingham, Is Eder close to figuring it out? I know it was a lot of walks and pitches Sunday but 8 K.
I feel like from the box scores he might be close.
WTF is this?
The eclipse had some kind of cosmic effect on Aly. She isn't relentlessly Debbie Downer on every single issue anymore.

I liked Eder before his injury, but his command hasn't come back yet and due to age he's approaching non-prospect status pretty quickly. He'll be 26 in October.
Hopefully he figures it out at some point this year, but early returns aren't looking good.
And this is coming from someone that liked the trade from the Sox perspective.
Also Burger is hitting .228 with an .281 OBP and a .702 OPS for Miami. Just seems like it might be a nothing for nothing deal.
Yeah, I starting to look like no one really won that trade.

Quero leads the Southern League in OPS (1.124), SLG (.698), RBI (19), and HR (5). He leads AA overall in RBI.

Zavala gives WS the lead with his second double of the day.
Good to see him get back on track.

Barons walk it off on a Burke single. 1-0. Iriarte still has an ERA of 0.00
He definitely should be in AAA now and so should Thorpe.

Top 20 overall prospect + Top 50 overall prospect + Top 100 overall prospect and some other useful piece....unless they plan on spending serious money to upgrade the roster next year.

Thorpe 5 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 1 K so far.
Dude definitely should be in AAA shortly.
-
Colas 2-2 with a BB and SB so far.
Hopefully he can be brought up soon if the defense is adequate.

And if not Lee, maybe Hackenberg who I think's defense was highly regarded last year (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
Lee has put in alot of work and IMO he has really improved himself this year. He should be starting over Maldonado right now.

Yep...this is one of the few positions I am actually excited about for the future. Quero/Lee should be a very solid catching duo.

I’m sure I’ll get flamed for this, but I actually love that Getz pulled this off. I really thought he’d burn the extra year of control for the sake being different, but he handled this correctly and it’s a good sign of how he’ll handle in the future.
Agreed.
Since we won't pay for quality FA pitching, we need to stretch out our control period of as much cost controlled pitching as possible.
