The Bill Walton Game: Sox vs what's your name again
Are we just not going to talk about the moment where Bill had to ask Jason his name again IN THE EIGHTH INNING

The Bill Walton Game: Sox vs what's your name again
I hate that Trout is going to be stuck on this mediocre team until he's practically 40.

The Bill Walton Game: Sox vs what's your name again
Walton mansplaining what a double play is to Jason is my new favorite thing. Ah shit, now it's Walton sarcastically asking Jason how many times he has made the SI cover. What a game

8/14- Sox vs Astros, 1:10, WGN
It has been a while since my high school Bio class, but I think one of those people can be a Cubs fan, so long as they have recessive Sox fandom from their own parents?

Well, yeah, until the offseason

My favorite part about Eloy really catching one is the immediate crowd reaction. It isn't a cheer. It isn't even a gasp. Its the same noise a crowd makes when a boxer takes one on the chin, an audible "ooophh."

I'm watching the game with sound off in a meeting. Anyone willing to give me an explanation of how the hell that became a ground rule double?

I was thinking of detwiler in particular. Seems like the Sox have done this a bunch this season. Get a couple lucky starts, watch the bad player be bad for a bit, then finally get rid of the player for a new rando after a big blow up.

Being 80+% Fastball/Curve was fine when he was just trying to master a new delivery and not be the worst pitcher in baseball anymore. If he wants to be as good as he looked in May, he needs all 4 pitches.

good lord, did Eloy stop to sign some autographs when he chased that into the corner?

It would make a lot of sense if he is dealing with some shoulder fatigue or discomfort. He may be unconsciously taking slightly different arm paths through his motion to alleviate the pain, which is throwing off his mechanics.

Tigers might want to skip to position players pitching, Soto is trash

I love seeing a pitcher throw to a base with authority

Gio looks all out of sorts on half of his pitches again. Falling off, legs going different places.

The Tigers use Kansas CIty Special against Eloy. Its super effective!
