AP has also yet to retract

He basically went all the way up to declaring himself without quite crossing that line. "I am not here to declare myself winner before the counting is done, but we are very confident we will be victorious" if my memory serves.

Biden with some pretty strong words just now
  4. mqr replied to hogan873's topic in SLaM
Does no one want to tell them they're losing?
  5. mqr replied to hogan873's topic in SLaM
No, but people could reasonably expect to pay for it themselves.

Uh, the Trump campaign is just declaring themselves winners in PA

Newman successfully primarying Lipinski is not for nothing, though the general was pretty much a forgone conclusion.

Can someone explain to me what the fuck the strategy is to stop the count when you’re trailing by tens of thousands of votes?

Politico and NYT split is identical, wonder what's driving that

We know what's out there re: Nevada and that should favor Biden. I have no idea what to make of this Arizona thing
  13. mqr replied to hogan873's topic in SLaM
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried again
  14. mqr replied to hogan873's topic in SLaM
I am well aware of all of that and I don't expect Biden to be able to reverse the damage done. Things won't get markedly worse, which is good, but we're heading toward 4 years of nothing.

This election has materially changed nothing other than preventing a lot of news cycle related headaches and mayyyyyyyyyyyyyybe getting a better handle on COIVD

Politico has even less of the vote in and hasn't retracted their call. FWIW the voices I'm seeing scream "It's not over!" re: Arizona are mostly way right twitter accounts

It just came out much less of the vote has been counted than reported.

Apparently Arizona is back in play. maaaaaaan what the hell.

Nah this is what they wanted. Now they have ammo to rile people up for 4 years.

A conversation around polling and it's value in an internet driven world needs to happen. "Trump voters are scared" is way to simple an answer.
  23. mqr replied to hogan873's topic in SLaM
I think it just shows how 1) Out of touch establishment Dems are 2) Effective yelling "COMMUNIST" at someone is, when the policies those same people are pushing are incredibly popular.
