You sound like the kind of guy who doesn’t understand development takes time sometimes. Roberts isn’t instantaneous eloy and moncada chased everything at first. Maybe you guys need to stop being so worried constantly and realize what’s actually going on.

He’s also a guy with only 60 mlb games guys a freak athleticism. It doesn’t mean it’s going to happen right away. That was the case for Anderson, moncada and eloy. Not sure why Sox fans have forgotten that. He will be fine. Moncada led the majors in strikeouts. You guys just gotta be patient.

La Russa has said in multiple occasions he has the most talent on the entire team. He’s literally just young and spring training numbers don’t matter at all. Like at all to people who watch baseball. We don’t know what he’s working on was told to do. Spring training matters 0 percent.

Statcast had only one actual strike in that at bat. He should have walked and had a double today. Realistically that’s not that bad. It takes experience to realize this ump sucks and to expand a little. But I’d rather him strike out on balls then start expanding to swing at everything

You realize statcast had those strikes as balls right? Took the count to 3-0. Germain got one strike then the other two were actual balls . Had a ground out and a double. So if it wasn’t for human error he would have a walk and a double. Anyone worried about spring training is a meatball ngl

I’m just saying stats wise. A lot of our guys have looked terrible and have long stretches this spring or non competitive at bats. There just tends to be a lot of kenwo type opinions. I think if we’re concerned about that we mighty as well be concerned about way more.

Also has played in like 60 major league games. He’s gonna play gold glove defense if he hits 240-275 and has 20-30 home runs he’s fine as a second year player

Exactly he’s literally stats wise having as good of a spring as anyone other than Collins who leads in hr. Strikeouts is pretty much the same across the board.

A fact ? You know stats wise the only players with more hits are Anderson and vaugh ? And Collins leads everyone in home runs. He also has the most stolen bases.

To be fair Robert looks about as good as abreu did through the playoffs and spring training yet no one is freaking out. He’s also only had 60 pro games. I think we all need to pump the breaks on the freak outs
