QUOTE(heirdog @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 09:11 PM) Can someone describe the Rowand play for those of us that couldn't see it. It was described as a double to center fielder Aaron Rowand....was it a tough play? Ball hit hard right at him, came in and went back to late and it went right over his glove.

QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 09:04 PM) Why is Ozzie playing for the tie? The infield has got to be in for that situation. Took the words out of my mouth.

QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) I want Marte to get Hafner!!! So he can walk him again. Marte is not good against lefties and Victor owns him. Even though he has been working a lot, I'm going with Bobby.

If I see Marte in the 9th, I'm driving to the Cell to ring Ozzie's neck. Jenks has pitched 4 or 5 days in a row I believe and Hermie is ineffective right now. I'm gonna have to go with Jenks. Marte can NOT face Victor Martinez. He owns Damaso.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 08:15 PM) In f***ing mopup duty. Whenever he comes in in a big spot he s***s the bed. This is the biggest inning he has pitched so far this year and he s*** the bed. He is not clutch. Neal Cotts splits: w/ RISP .200 BAA w/ RISP and 2 outs .100 BAA w/ runners on .178 BAA Close and Late .191 BAA

QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) Has anyone blamed Ozzie for putting in Cotts yet? Not at all. I didn't want Buehrle starting the inning no matter what.

QUOTE(rangercal @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 08:03 PM) screw all you ozzie bashers :rolly , I dont know many managers that I have been more pleased with than Ozzie Guillen. If it weren't for Ozzie Guillen we'd be a 3rd place team. With all due respect, there is no way to know that.
