Did George Bush's government pass some sort of sanction that would allow the complete price of an SUV to be written off as a business expense? Not sure about this but I thought my teacher said this. If it's true Bush is not looking at the environmental picture at all. Did George Bush ever consider signing up for the Kyoto accord? What do you guys think about the Kyoto accord?

Didn't this guy have fairly sub par numbers last year. What warranted his trip to spring training this year. Couldnt there have been pitchers who deserved to make the trip a little more than him.

Oldroman talks of how children from other countries are told by their parents to hate America. Well I think Oldroman and others like him have been influenced sort of in the same way. I could be wrong but I believe he and others like him have been told by numerous sources (propaghanda) of how the US is extremely generous and is always trying to help. Sure the US helps but it covers up some obvious faults of its support. All we have to do is read between the lines and see what many people miss. That's how we become intelligent voters and so on. Of course theres more than voting, thats just an example. I also dont think children in Ethiopia for example, are told by their parents to hate america. I bet most of the children dont even know what the US is. Because they dont have the money to educate themselves. So many problems in the WORLD

True the US does give millions of dollars to support other countries and they actually give more money than any other country. They lead in total amount but they are by no means spending as high a percentage of their money on supporting poor countries as well as their own citizens as other countries do. I have trouble explaining that, sorry. In my opinion the US spends way too much money on foolish things. Bush and his I guess advisors dont seem to see the big picture. I think oldroman you called me a commie that could be no farther from the truth. What I believe is that every person deserves the CHANCE to live out their dream. Enjoy their lives and be who they really are and and stay true to their beliefs. And I think America and many other countries could do a much better job at this.

You guys talk about how thousands of people died in 9/11 well this is true and it was a terrible tragedy and I feel terrible for friends and family of the victims. But what many people take a blind eye to is that tens upon thousands of people all over the world die every day due to hunger. Why cant america spend money on these types of problems instead of "Star Wars" and all those other crazy weapons systems. I am by no means an expert on war or politics but I know the US could spend more money on these types of things. PS U.S. has one of the highest child poverty rates in the world. Im Canadian by the way. All replies and opinions welcome.

He has shown signs of greatness the last 2 years. I think he could become a Cy Young contender. But that will take consistency. ONly time will tell.

I don't think that would be fair to Jimenez if Harris got the job unless Jimenez bombed in Spring Training. D'Angelo Jimenez has all but earned the job in my mind. Nothing against Willie Harris though he plays hard with good D and great wheels.

He had a decent season last year at Birmingham batting .276 with 39/57 stolen bases. Im not sure but I think I heard he's moving up to Charlotte this year. I think there may be too many people ahead of him to get into the White Sox uni anytime soon though.

The Jays are releasing him for money reason and yes it is going to cost much more than 750,000 especially if more than a couple teams are after him.

The thought of trading konerko for ortiz is absolutely ridiculous not even KW would go for that. Id rather just go with a bunch of young guns over losing Konerko:mad:

I dont like these ideas about trading to Montreal it seems like we are almost trading away the whole team. I would like to stick with the same guys. If anything only trade 1 for 1 with a prospect or 2. But I dont like trading 2 or 3 major leaguers. Let the young guys develop another year?
