I had a bad feeling this decision was going to blow up in the worst way. It has now. As for MB, I lost a lot of respect for him when he turned down that contract, pretty much indicating he was going to leave as soon as possible. I even wanted him to fail eventhough it meant to the expense of the Sox. Since they are fighting for the division, I'd like to see him perform. So, obviously, I want him to pitch well now. No matter how well he does from here on out, I won't be happy for him at all, just the team.

Tony LaRusa is not the most loved person in ST. Louis. i have many friends there, and they all tell me the same thing. As for Hawk ripping on JM, I didn't see it. Hawk usually has comments to say that are negative, but he has confirmed that in interviews he is told not do so on the air. I guess yesterday, he made an exception. It's just his opinion. You can agree with him or not. Unless Mark was hurting yesterday, i think he should've started myself. Too late now.

I thought Comiskey got a fair rating overall. It lost points due to the upper deck, and the actual location of the ball park.
