  1. Anybody know what happened to M. Cabrera toady? He left the Tigers/Red Sox game in the 2nd inning.
  2. YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAS CAN BULLPEN
  3. Soto u suck. Take more pills please
  4. Beckham?? Fields and The Brick Blow. Please bring him up!!!!!!!!!! And Let's Go Braves.
  5. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 03:05 PM) Him and Joey Cora were working down in Florida.......oh wait.......I'll gladly take the opportunity to potentially see the over here as oppossed to the 91 MPH blown right past a guy all night long. Couldn't agree more. People will argue that Fields is hitting better of late. But how many of those were actually hit hard. I seem to recall many grounders that found holes and broken bat flares. And MANY AB's where he was completely over-matched. Maybe I'm just looking at him through Beckham tainted glasses.
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 03:02 PM) I'll surprisingly take the under. He might be the worst "utility" infielder I've ever seen. I'm still trying to figure out why he is on this team. Some face with the Swisher trade? Maybe he's insurance for when Thome inevitably goes on the 15 day DL.
  7. Lillibridge making the team out of Spring Beckham still in AAA
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 09:48 PM) It's really sick how good Beckham should be. I'm trying to temper expectations, but the f***er is hitting .467 in AAA. It's like he's playing high school ball. He went 3/4 tonight, so that average is on the rise.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 09:44 PM) It's crazy how often I forget we're missing Quentin in this lineup. Last year down the stretch, we probably mentioned it every inning. Good call here. Imagine this line-up in 7-10 days Pods Lexi CQ Dye Thome Kong AJ Beckham Getz
  10. I really hope Beckham is called up for the weekend series against Cleveland. Get him a couple games under his feet. We are going to need his bat against that good Tiger pitching.
  11. Cleveland is REALLY banged up right now, and we miss Lee. I'm going with: 2-2 Oakland (Should win 3/4, but won't) 3-0 Cleveland 3-2 Tigers 8-4 Homestand, which will make me happy.
  12. Cubs, Tigers, and Twins all lose today. Nice, very nice.
  13. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 14, 2009 -> 12:16 PM) Glad to see the captain comes out and states the facts. Hopefully the team gets its lineup back and wakes up. If not, we'll see at least a few familiar faces dealt at the deadline (Dye/Thome/Colon). Probably can add Dotel to the list.
  14. Awesome. Going against another pitcher with a high ERA. I've seen this story early and often, and it doesn't have a happy ending.
  15. QUOTE (G&T @ May 8, 2009 -> 03:58 PM) The Cubs have traded Gathright for Ryan Freel. Wow. Nice trade for the Cubs. I wonder if the O's would have taken Lillibridge for him.
  16. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 8, 2009 -> 01:20 PM) I would take Thome back for $1 mill. He's still a stud. If he puts up #'s close to last year, I'm guessing negotiations start at $5 million, plus incentives.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ May 4, 2009 -> 01:56 PM) You want a good game plan for tonight? Have Colon drill a Royals hitter up and in during the first inning. With the bad blood from the first series, as well as last year, that could be effective in getting Greinke away from the inner half. You sneaky SOB. I love it!!!
  18. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 4, 2009 -> 07:38 AM) The Sox will get less than 5 hits, 7 total base runners and maybe a run. Hopefully Greinke will pull his hamstring jogging off the field after striking out the side in the 1st inning.
