My only resentment is that he's blocking Burger who is actually a good and useful player.

Moncada and the Sox will milk this the entire season as the reason he is hitting .200

He'd be a fine utility infielder off the bench while Burger starts and hits bombs.

Where does Moncada fit? Is he guaranteed the starting 3B job just because of the size of his contract?

Burger is a much better player than Moncada.

Cannot give 400 AB to Moncada with a .626 OPS again at that position again this year. He was awful last year and should not be handed the position until he can show he’s no longer an anchor on the entire lineup. I’ll take Burger’s defense issues if he’s mashing the ball like he did last year.

Keep Burger and play him at 3B ... let Moncada try and figure out how to hit again as the designated utility infielder ... dump Leury.
