Quentin sought after by BOS
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 07:45 PM) If he's trying to drum up demand, that means the guy is available for the right price. KW will be the first to admit that anyone is available for the right place. KW realizes that there is a pretty healthy market for a RF and is kicking the tires to see if a guy like D. Brown is really available.

Quentin sought after by BOS
I'm thinking all of this chatter is just KW trying to drum up demand. KW is trying to play teams off of each other in the media to see if some GM is dumb enough to give up their top prospect for Quentin. I doubt Q is traded.

Rumor: Rios/Thornton to Brewers for Gamel?
QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 06:32 PM) A high school rumor? Who cares? Hollowell is a five star basketball recruit. It was a very big story in Indiana, and he got it dead wrong.

Rumor: Rios/Thornton to Brewers for Gamel?
Now I remember it. This guy said that Jeremy Hollowell, a HS basketball recruit who wound up signing with Indiana, committed to Ohio State. This rumor's bulls***.

Rumor: Rios/Thornton to Brewers for Gamel?
This twitter account seems familiar. I swear he made up something about a trade that never happened several months back...

Rumor: Rios/Thornton to Brewers for Gamel?
If a graphic designer can scoop the Jackson trade, hell, this might be legit. If the Brewers take Rios, holy hell would that be great.

Sox versus Tigers Game thread
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 16, 2011 -> 05:10 PM) I've always hated Allen when I've watched Tigers game. That was pathetic by him to insist that it was blatant. "His foot was coming off the bag there" Which implies that his foot was still on the bag. f***ing moron. Nice job by Ejax. Looks great out there.

Yup, bad call. Also, f*** the Tigers color guy (also FOX color guy) for not correcting himself after the replay clearly showed Beckham was fine.

7/12 Games
QUOTE (Bruce_Blixton @ Jul 12, 2011 -> 09:28 PM) So Collin Kuhn has been impressive so far in Bristol, maybe he develops as the sleeper of the 2011 draft? One of things you should never do is extrapolate stats in rookie ball. Been there, done that. If players start producing in Kannapolis it is a different story.
