Here's my take on it now... Artest isn't right, but he isn't wrong... Stephen Jackson was wrong... Jermaine O'Neal was right.... Ben Wallace is a b****.

There was nothing abnormal about that foul. Ben Wallace's "boo-hoo, we're down 15...I'm going to cry" reaction afterwards was what was out of line.

If he didn't act like a little baby, none of this would have ever happened.

Suspend them for life.

David Stern will want ratings. He may be upset right now at his BUSINESS. However, he knows a lot of this could have been prevented with the prevention of beer sales after halftime. But that would kill profits. He knows if all these players aren't in the Pacers-Pistons game on X-mas he'll lose some monster ratings. He'll make sure they're back.

They'll all be back before the Christmas game.

Well if that's the case, they were terribly underrated. I mean they just beat Deleware St. by 20 at home!!! If they win the games they're supposed to, they're going to move up in the rankings. It's as simple as that.

If they ignore anything that happened on the court, O'Neal doesn't deserve that. If you're a fan, and you went on the court, you got what you deserved.

I bet Stern probably has that in mind.....He has to make sure they're all back for the game....

The fans are a joke though. There's some players I don't like, but I wouldn't go to a game and try to start something with them. Hell, the same goes for the real world. I don't go starting fights with people I don't like.

I think Artest was trying to avoid all conflicts at that point. He was doing the right thing. He knew was going to be an easy target for suspensions with anything like that taking place. The "fans" :rolly are what got him going.

Okay....Artest was wrong for AVOIDING conflict with Wallace... Can the guy ever win....Good god.

Artest was getting shoved by Wallace, and Wallace was continualy trying to get at Artest, throwing a towl at him. If you were in that situation, that'd get you going. Artest knows what people think of him, and what kind of situation he was in. He tried to stay away from it, laying down on the press table. However, the throwing of the beer didn't help. I guarantee if all those things were going against you, you'd done the same thing.

Like ESPN said....I don't think any other player pitted in Artest's situation would have acted differently. Stephen A. Smith said Shaq told him he'd do the same.
