His confidence is prolly the most shaken thing.... We'll see, but I think he's still gonna be great. Maybe he'll be a Jarrod Washburn and take awhile to blossom I think he was 27 when he pulled it all together.

I think Honel would be on the way up. Heard some mention of him maybe going up when I was in Winston Salem. Honel only pitched 4 innings last night, while it could be that his Pitch Count was high, or some other reason, maybe he got the call up, you never know When we were in W-S....we talked to Honel and they told him to "be prepared" for a call-up to AA. So take it for what it's worth.

I saw him pitch at the futures game, and he looked like a guy with a boatload of talent. However to try and guess how he will do seems more like a contest board type thing.

It's silly to speculate.... knowone here but a select few have seen Cotts pitch, and without watching him actually pitch it's impossible to just guess how hes going to do.

I was VERY impressed with Gload. looked to have good defense, some speed for a firstbaseman and nice approach and swing. from what we were told, he has the skills to make it, but hasn't been given the chance. THIS IS MARIO, NOT MARK. sorry.

Carlos Castillo is not ready to face AA hitters...we heard the game he pitched on the radio, and he got lit up. Corwin I think could make the jump...he was solid in Kannapolis. Corwin's prollems are like 95%mental IMO. BTW......it good to here from ya jimmy, we miss you when u dont post.

Watching 4 minor league games.......I've realized, that unless u see these kids in person... you have no idea how good they are. Thats why I put my faith into what Rex says... he sees em every home game (or atleast thats what Gerdsy said)

How was Yan's D? STELLAR He gets to the ball so quick and his exchange time is impressive as well. Joey B.....has shortened his swing, he looked tons better on Monday. (especially from the pressbox he did) Todd Deiniger.... is going to be on all these lists next year...I watched him dominate a lot of real good hitters when he faced rome on Wednesday.

OMG......the Warthogs came back to win....... thats a real kicker! We left in the 8th to get a jump on the ride home......they were down 3-1 Wing was even better than that boxscore indicates... his LF Welsh...cost him 2 runs atleast with balls he misplayed. Ruddy is faster than u can imagine. Todd Deiniger is real good to.

Gload.....is awesome!! I saw him play Monday....he is an amazing hitter. One guy who isn't on ur pitching lists is...Todd Deiniger.. I talked to some scouts after his win... and he was hitting 93 on the gun. He dominated a very potent Rome Braves line-up....hes great.

Yep were back..... met some great people (Ryan Gerds and Alan York to name a few) drove over 2500 miles before it was all said and done.....ate at 2 waffle houses, saw 4 games, stayed in 5 different hotels.....and were now home. ahoi from Ashville Carolina.........were about 1-1\2 hours out of charlotte, and tired as f***. we drive over 700 miles today.....f***ing yikes. were going to be in Charlotte tomorrow (as press) watching the knights play.... it's going to be fun. Jason is gay...he made us drive around for an hour to look for a decent restaurant....which we never found in this hick-town. Well hope everything is coool back in chitown... l8r - Mark
