Kenny was just gooin in his pants for the Cincy bullpen, he wanted to get one of em no matta what. He didnt get #1 (Williamson) so he got #2 (Sully) fine with me, I just wish we coulda got Williamson so we could have a closer. Maybe Sully becomes one next year... who knows? He's thrown 100 IP 2 years in a row.. so at the least he's a dependable righty in a pen full of so-so ones.

Shudn't that be in green? Aaron was killin the ball after being re-called... then we got carl and he lost his job. Aaron is a dependable late-inning outfield replacement, and pinch runner. He's not great....but he's FAR from the worst player on the team this year.

I'd like to think that Joe could become the next Robin....there has been a gaping hole at the hot corner and my heart, since he left. If joe plays D like he can and hits 265 - 270 I have no prollem with him. be nice if he could pitch in 20HR's and 75-80Rbi's as well.

Unless I am confused (which is possible) I do not believe there is such a thing as a waiver trade deadline. Trades can be made, but aren't likely since playoff rosters have to be set September 1st. I wonder if teams like the pirates even bother to set playoff rosters........?
