Cause the Reds don't need an OF/1B/DH type. They need pitching. Why did they offer Griffey for Maggs then???? Reds could take the salary space and get a Rogers, or Finley.......and maybe we deal a prospect. Not saying that this is all that plausible.........however I do think that they would deal Griffey for something other than pitching. I think they want the cap space more than the players. if they could get both all the better.
