So he's staying in cle . . . but not for sure, but if he does remember that I said that he was going to all along. Motherbucher.
-
Ric Bucher is spewing non-committal conjecture. Not willing to commit to a single position so he can't be called out for being wrong.
-
So f***ing annoyed with Ric Bucher. What a douche. I bet he is distant cousins with David Kaplan.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:36 PM) He says Bosh to Houston, Boozer to Miami, Chicago nada. Not sure how that happens since it seems like Boozer likes the idea of Chicago. Plus, Boozer joining the Bulls with the Bulls having space for Anthony would be more intriguing than Boozer and Wade by themselves I'd think. Albeit the Heat would still have some room. I'm feeling a bit better, but still, the next 5 to 10 years of our org will be decided in the next 48 hours or so. ??????? He is predicting where every FA goes except for the top 2? Wtf?

UMM UMM UMM YOU MOTHERBUCHER!

WHAT DOES UMMM MEAN YOU MOTHERf***ER!

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:34 PM) He clarified, but this starting to sound even more remote: ummm = LBJ and Wade?
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:32 PM) Would the Bulls have ever done that? Seriously, why would you lie to LBJ because you know it would get back to Wade. Part of me thinks Bucher is full of it, part of me is real scared were gonna end up with Boozer and cap space. I think he meant hard to believe MIA could get shut out, and that it was hard to believe because they were the favorites early on for the Bosh/LBJ/Wade superteam. I think he had a brain fart and wrote MIA instead of CHI. Only way that statement makes sense contextually.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:28 PM) Bucher is scaring me with this. He was talking about Amare not signing with MIA and then talked about an empty crawl. . . I think he meant MIA but wrote CHI. . . seems logical to me.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:25 PM) So Wade, do the Bulls have Wade? Maybe? Thank god for messy divorces!
-
QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:23 PM) I bet Goffs source is Terry Boers who apparently has sources that don't have a great track record IIRC. Very likely.

PK with another scoop on a bad throw. He is the best I've ever seen with the short hop. -
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:17 PM) There won't really be many leaks coming out of the Bulls org, imo. They tend to play things pretty tight to there vest and I think that is why there were only 3 guys in the meeting at the end of the day. Right, and with all due respect to Jason Goff . . . he wouldn't be the type of guy who they would leak this information to.

Rangers uniforms look cool with the white and red Independence Day hat. They should consider using this uni combination on a semi-regular basis. -
Anyone else wonder what Derrick Rose and Noah have been doing during all Free Agency craziness?
-
Comcast just ran a piece on the Ad Agency that sent LeBron the shoe box, the seven empty ring boxes, and the shadow MJ pic. Really inspired marketing. Absolutely awesome.
-
I could never be disappointed with a haul of Wade and Bosh. NEVER NEVER NEVER. Still, LBJ is the King and still the biggest name in the game. I think the only way they don't continue going after LBJ is if they got a bad vibe from the meeting.

Jason Goff Sticking with his sources

I am conflicted. I understand the "bird in the hand" argument . . . but LBJ is still the top prize in this offseason. I think I want to see how that unfolds.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 05:47 PM) Meh that's just rapport-building, nothing more. Granted, this is going to the extreme, but the principle is no different. I understand, but they (reportedly) focused the presentation on this cartoon and how they "know" him. I think that pitch was a calculated mistake because I'm sure LeBron doesn't have a problem with the organization or Cleveland. The problem is that the team has not been able to win a title and it doesn't look they will be able to with their current roster. I think they should've focused more on how they plan on building him a competitive team and less about how he and his boys love inside jokes.
-
Cavs spent six months working on a 10 minute cartoon for LBJ. Supposedly the Cavs know that he likes "inside jokes, and stupid jokes." If LeBron is convinced by that then I'm not sure what to think . . . other than he may be a moron.

douche chills.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 04:18 PM) That is ridiculous and it shouldn't even be close. I'll take Wade if we don't get Lebron, obviously, but people can't be serious. The sad thing is that I think that they are being serious. . . they are just meatball "hey he doesn't respect the game" fans and don't care about his talent. I hope Dan Bernstein isn't listening today. . . he might be throwing things around.
