  8. QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 26, 2010 -> 08:43 PM) He may or may not have been a HC candidate in 2004 (from the perspective of NFL teams, since the Bears weren't the only one) but all this sudden criticism from the fanbase is silly, 6 years after the fact, after they've made the playoffs twice and one of those was a Super Bowl appearance when most of the ones saying this (not necessarily you Badger) were on Lovie's nuts. I'd rather not have Singletary or Lovie. Bill Cowher please. Out of curiosity, what about Mike Singletary indicates that he is a competent HC? I guess I don't see it.

  10. absolutely no run-blocking so far by the first unit.
  11. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Aug 3, 2010 -> 12:04 PM) I think looking at the #'s the Hawks made a lateral move with Turco... however Turco is one of the best if not the best puck handler as a goalie. He will help the transition game out big time. It sucks that Niemi is gone. It really does. By all accounts, he seems like a great guy and he was absolutely a crucial element of the first Blackhawks team to win a cup since 1961. However, I believe (as does the organization) that Turco for 1 year at +/- 1 million is a better option than locking up Niemi in a long term deal that will put the team in a similar cap situation year-to-year. Unfortunately, this is the NHL Cap.
