  1. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) O snap! But damn Thibs is gonna have some work to do if Reddick is signed. (though I think Orlando will match) Bulls loaded the offer sheet with upfront money. Might be hard for Orlando to match.
  2. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 06:55 PM) Don't forget about Aaron Gray's ghost. I am sure it is lurking somewhere. Dalibor Bagaric and Michael Ruffin lay some claim as well.
  3. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 06:27 PM) I actually thought Matt Barnes would have been a better target for the Bulls than Korver if they were after a 3, he would have brought a little more toughness at least. I like a combo of Barnes and Korver for the 2/3. . . but I think we still need a combo guard that has some ball-handling skill.
  4. Korver v. Seabrook v. Sharp = Battle of United Center Handsome. Do it.
  5. We need a SG. . . somebody call MJ. Only play home games until the playoffs. No Cigars, No cuban women, no motorcylce racing. MJ can do it.
  6. QUOTE (aprec32 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:11 AM) Yeah, Kobe is now going to be a hero to many. I'm very perplexed right now. I hate Kobe but what these 3 did isn't right. They are taking the easy way. Who do I root for? I am going to root for Derrick Rose, Noah, Boozer, and co. I hate the Heat more than any Yankee, Cowboys, Lakers, Steelers, Patriots team ever assembled and they haven't even played a game. If the Heat like the target on their back, good . . . they cast a giant one on their back tonight. Wade Bron and Bosh are villains now, plain and simple.
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:06 AM) They did what they had to do all along. Beasley had to go, and they got needed space. Pat Riley and company are looking like gods right now. The only person's repuatation that has improved in all of this is Pat Riley. The man really IS a god. Can't believe he got them to agree to this. Has done EVERYTHING RIGHT. check that. . . Kobe's popularity has improved exponentially tonight as well. If he can slay the 3 headed dragon then he will be America's hero.
  8. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:03 AM) Mo Williams... now the second best player on that team behind Jamison... Yikes. . . . . sound as good as the Washington Wizards.
  9. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:00 AM) Ya he said afterwards l2ms. Heads was the one who cracked that code a week ago. Anyone see Mo Williams tweet? what does l2ms mean?
  10. In phoner w/ AP, Gilbert says "People have covered up for [James] for way too long. Tonight we saw who he really is." Someone should really give Gilbert some Purple Drank and mellow him out.
  11. I like that he talked to MJ. That means he at least took us seriously. I hope MJ actually said really positive things about Jerry and the team.
  12. LBJ must have really pissed Jerry Reinsdorf off.
  13. I love hearing Dan Bernstein talk about the LeBron stuff. He is able to place everything in the proper perspective. LeBron to MIA makes everyone change their impression of him in someway.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:38 PM) I really think the silence out of Bulls camp and the fact that they haven't reached out to other players means they think they have LeBron. I'd say what I think . . . but then you'd get mad and tell me to remove my avatar. How is Cristobal Huet treating you these days (I'm kidding, I know you gave up on him).
  15. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:31 PM) If the Bulls missed out, what does everyone think they do. Will they sign 2 or 3 guys? Will they pull off a trade? Will they move guys and accumulate expiring deals to have cap room for next year? Outside of Melo, who is potentially available next season? I bet Ben Gordon is available.
  16. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:30 PM) But he should get better having a low post player around him. Hes' a relatively efficient scorer coming off his best season. The key to Deng is health. He isn't an all star, but he's an above average player and an asset. Especially now that he's extended his range and appears capable of being a decent 3 point shooter. If Luol continues to improve that aspect of his game he should be quite valuable (albeit a little overpaid in my eyes). Luol Deng isn't an impact player in the NBA. He belongs in basketball Siberia, aka Sacramento, Memphis, Clippers etc... He will be left alone, nobody will expect things from him, all will be well.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:18 AM) I'm sure those are some literate texts. ey LAbron plz cum to chi we need you boi. on tuh realz we cud win sum champunchips. hitt me bzck! dr1
  18. This is the thing that annoys me the most. He is going to embarrass a lot of important NBA people today. I cannot believe he has the balls to let the teams know where he is going. He cares so much about this getting leaked that he is going to embarass everyone but Pat Riley. I hate LeDouche.
  19. Travis Outlaw got 35 million. Makes the Boozer deal look even better. VIVA BOOZER!
  20. Sign Kyle Korver, let him take on Brent Seabrook and Patrick Sharp in a battle of handsome.
  21. I cannot believe that LeDouche is gonna go to Miami. I have never hoped that anyone fails more than I hope he fails.
  22. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 08:49 AM) he's back tracking a little on mike and mike now too. still says miami the favorites "but you never know" LeDouche is going to Miami. Broussard is just stopping short of confirming anything because ESPN doesn't want to hurt its ratings. I am convinced of this now. Bad News: We didnt get LeDouche, Good News: We have 3 new mortal enemies. VIVA BOOZER!
  23. QUOTE (kev211 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) Where did you get this and the awesome quote? @jgoff670
