I know one thing, neither would see much crunch time action, at least at first.
Plus, neither of them should be replacing Wunsch who is a lefty specialist and one of him or Porzio needs to be on this team.
How can you be sure? Dominant minor league closers have a long history of not panning out in the majors.
What Doublem says is very true. They talk about Valentine being the first in a long to prove that theory wrong.
Well I'd rather have Thomas's salary off the books then Lee's, plus I love having Lee as a DH. To me one has got to go this year, but I Think the Sox can put it off for a year and see what Thomas develops into.
IF Thomas turns things on then the Sox know what they have and he's marketable. Then they will look at Lee and if he's still playing great, then the Sox will trade Thomas and go with Lee otherwise they'll dump Lee and turn to Borchard full time.
Thats whats going to happen folks!!!
Whats Everyone's Favorite Comedy?
For me theirs fast times at ridgemont high, dazed and confused, american pie, Porky's, Road Trip, Meet the Parents, and Major League.
At first I thought it was Mark, and I think RPS thought the same thing, looking at his post.
Anyway, its good your hear and I look forward to seeing tons of your posts.
I'm sick of the badboys, thats what everyone else was yapping when Boomer came and I never liked Rodman. The hell with him, I see that guy over at his bar sometimes(He lives like 15 minutes from me, but he hangs out at a place I sometimes go) and he's always piss drunk and drugged up.
Lol, I just wear mine for the hell of it. I remember when I got it, I had him sign it and on the inside of it I used the free frisbee I got when I was at plateville. He always seemed cool, but the tried to be the leader as a rookie and it didn't go over well.
I just don't think he has it, but I give him just as good of a shot as Porzio when it comes to making the club. I don't like either though. I can't wait till we get Ring up here.
That was a great typo by Mike, but its whats going to happen and then the Angels will beat the twins enroute to becoming World Series Champs
Go Angels, Go Twins, Go Giants, Go Cards!!!
What a loser he is.
Too bad he didn't have a good attitude cause if he did, I'd sign him up to a minor league deal and let him compete for a lefthanded spot out of the pen.
Booo to Simas. I just think Joe has an amazing spring that gets him in.
But your probably right. I'm sure we'll have some injuries, hopefully just minor ones that will give him a chance.
