Kyle Teel returns, Edgar Quero optioned to Charlotte
Quero is still someone I believe in, but I get what they are doing. Give him time to get right and get at bats and we'll see him back in August timeframe (hopefully ready to stay for good).

Will Venable's Managing
They need a few more bats - hopefully they can got hit hear and bounce back against Cleveland. Teel coming back will be nice and than Mune hopefully not far behind!

Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
I should say - knowing we will have a new owner, I would take a shot and would trade real chips to go for a front line ace if they came available - including Skubal. But would want front office to commit to paying said player too.

Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
Angels would love to get a high end upside prospect like Carlson out of this deal and they know him very well from being a local guy. Detmers is solid but he is not an ace or a true front end guy.

I would not make that trade - angels would.

And that's a road confidence building WHITE SOX WINNER
He is still raw - got to be patient and let him go through the process and develop. He’s going to be an above average all around player.

At what point do we start to believe?
Crazy - I do think he hr first rehab at bat both times. Hopefully this year he goes well and we got him smashing all season from here on out!

Noah Schultz & Kyle Teel set to begin rehab assignments next week
I think it is going to be longer than that. It has been a long time since he got any extended run. I’m guessing 10 days minimum (7 games minimum) and could be closer to a good 2 weeks. Noah might be one start only though than ease him in for the next one at MLB level if he looks crisp.

2026 MILB Catch-All
Good time - gives him half a season to see what AA is like and allow development team to assess what next level areas of focus need to be, including how to work in offseason for long term success. Seems like they already have been doing a bit of it. Excited to see him continue to develop and be pushed and see how he responds to some of these challenges too.

2026 MILB Catch-All
It is exciting to me that the Sox have some real tangible positional player development wins of late. Hoping it is a sign of a much brighter future. I am hoping we can see similar progress on pitching front - in particular hoping we see Hagen, Tanner and Noah be able to get there way there and harness some front of stuff. With Tanner and Noah I think they will (pending health)…Hagen has the ability but he seems to be in a bad spot - this year has to be about figuring out how to get him aligned to be able to consistently hit an arm slot and start to grow. Stuff is there as evidenced by big swing and miss numbers past few starts (ignoring last night when he got rocked). I would be open to dealing Hagen for a front line pitcher plus someone else. For example if Ishbia could convince JR to agree to hit and pay Skubal a record deal…go for it.

Official NBA 25-26 Thread
Was truly blessed to get to enjoy him, Johnny red and crew and of course Hawk and Winmpy and Hawk and his other partners..::truly hope this isn’t the end of memorable announcers for our squads. So fun in my mind having someone in that booth who loves the team like you do. Seems to happen so much less now a days.

Official NBA 25-26 Thread
Devasting news - wish his family nothing but the best during these difficult times. When bulls were rolling I loved every ounce of the energy, passion and funny sayings he would bring to the booth. Was always clear how much he loved the Bulls, the game of basketball and the gig that he had too.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
I think it was his bat but he could play catcher, but the grind wasn't worth it. To that point, his defensive tools were nowhere near as good as Lackey's...but Lackey's tools play as a potential plus centerfielder as well. Which I still think is what I would opt for or at least aim for as I think the value there is extremely high if it hits. Catching is just such a grind - both the mental part of the job and the physical part of the defensive role, that it absolutely impacts your offensive development and even ability to maintain an offensive peak. There is a reason so few catcher(s) have ever had sustainable success at both. It is one reason I love the set-up the Sox theortically have with Teel and Quero as they should be able to adequately split their time up a bit more and truly let it play up to a big time advantage.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
I keep getting more and more excited for Lackey. I think he is going to be an absolute super star. Roch is still a very good talent too…but I’m all in on Lackey!

Mune Injury Watch
Stinks - hope he can recover quick and put this behind him and get back to crushing asap. In meantime, next guy up. Would be nice to see Colson go on a heater here along with Jacob coming up and showing us he’s a dude.
