I'm still wondering if Billy Beane would take back his former pitching prospect.. I wouldn't mind giving them Munoz/Diaz etc.. though as far as pitching. Don't know what they'd want to have.

Zito is younger, already has a 20 win season and a Cy Young under his belt, and is a lefty we can use to compliment Buehrle in the rotation. I'd take a 25 yr old Zito who is pitching in the AL over a 28 yr old Pavano who is pitching in the NL in a heartbeat.

Garcia/Zito/Contreras/Buehrle/Garland (or FA)= sick.. Perfect balence of power pitchers (Garcia, Contreras) Finesse (Zito, Buehrle) and a sinker baller in Garland or another FA.

Even though I would LOVE the Pedros/Beltrans/Drews etc.. here's a list that realistically, I would love to see here.. Hitters: Visquel Catalanatto Guzman (don't care if he's a former twinkie, he is a very good slap hitter and can teach Willie a thing or two.) J.T. Snow Koskie Glaus (sorry I'm a Glaus fan even though I know we probably wont get him ) Pitchers: Perez Pavano Milton Clement Willamson Benitez (If KW is willing to spend. That can move shingo in set-up with Marte) Nelson (love his stuff!!) To me, most of the players in the hitting list are Ozzie's type players. All of them are grinders. And the pitchers I could say more, but IMO, I think we could get a couple of those guys (mostly Perez/Willamson for me) to sure up the roation and the bullpen.
