I'm a big Willie Harris fan (sorry to say but I am) and I wouldn't mind a Uribe/Harris platoon. But w/o Jose, this team is nothing. He brings that veteran leadership and he's a very popular man in the clubhuse. If they trade him, I think. that it would mess up that chemistry. (O, and those 25 hrs. of his would hurt too)

Like I said in the other thread, They should have called up Diaz or Wunsch (if he's 100%) and put Cotts in the rotation. That would make more sense. So I'm guessing were carring 3 catchers and putting Cotts in the rotation anywayz...

YES!! If it's true I'm glad. Yea if they would have called up someone, it should be Diaz or Wunsch. Kelly could return to the pen and put Cotts in the rotation. That would make more sense.

Hell the sox last year did very well against the good teams but sucked against the sucky teams. Lets see what these guys do against the Yankees, Red Sox, A's etc.. One team doesn't mean that they have to worry. The sox just need to worry about their own games, not what the opponents are doing in the Central especially this early in the season.

Your stats of Willie is so false it's not even funny. He is batting .254 (18-71) OBP: .299. Those stats you gave are his career stats (which isn't fair because Willie hasn't had that much at-bats let alone, play an entire season) Let's give then man at least 100 at-bats before we criticize. Hell look at Ordonez. He's batting .289 (24-83) OBP: .352. Granted Willie's OBP could be better, lets say he went 3-3 today or even 2-3? That average is going nothing but up after that game. Give the guy some time please. Willie already has 18 hits from Ordonez's 24 in 12 less at-bats. Willie will not show the flawless bat from Uribe,but he will be solid for us this season under Ozzie.

Never was a big Pierszynski fan, but I did respect him alot because he plays with alot of heart. Reading this is telling me he doesn't give a rat's ass about his teammates and would rather be traded. (Twins would make his ass happy) I wouldn't mind them shipping his ass to a sucky team in the NL or AL. Pierszynski= :dips***

Were you even watching yesterday's game? Willie turned on an inside pitch and hit it about 10 feet foul down the right field line but it would have been waaaaaay outta here if it was fair. He has some pop in that bat. The opp. pitchers try to jam him alot though in his AB's. But when he turns on one, I'd expect about 5-10 homers for Willie this year. He's also one of the rare ones on the team that's thinking more basehit than home run. I can this guy heating up if he gets the nessesary AB's.
