Who's Melvyn Mora? Seems like the versitile Mora was better suited to the team than to find him a perminite position. IMO, I think he is better suited for the outfield. He has made some unbelieveable plays there and he uses his speed more. But The Orioles thought otherwise cause the OF positions are somewhat crowded..

You are right Jas. Totally forgot about the years he spent down there. Sweeney is considered "a god" by some scouts so I still think he can handle his own. Even some players said it can be even difficult to handle minor league pitching than the major leagues..

The Marlins did it with Cabrera, and he turned out to really help them.. Sweeney also proved he can hit major league pitching, so I can see him doing the same as well. Maybe not this September, but very soon.

Marlins and Angels won the Wild Card respectively. They did not finish in 1st. Reds, and D-Rays are doing well right now.. So what? They donot have the pitching to compete for first in their divisions (Cubs, Astros, RedSox, Yankees) At least The Marlins and Angels pitching staff was very solid. It wasn't great, but they got the job done, plus with a decent bullpen.

They won't. The Royals had an amazing start last season, but only finished in 3rd. I don't see the Tigers, Brewers, or the Rangers in 1st very long.
