  1. Got out of it.. but geez making stupid mistakes like that can cost ya big!
  2. My wife and I volunteer for a pug rescue group. We have 6 ourselves. Plus 3 cats. No kids so it works out lol
  3. Would anyone have interest in this guy?? Another "Coop will fix em" Jonathan Sanchez's Trade Value Dropping By Nat Boyle [June 16 at 9:54pm CST] Brian Sabean once said he couldn't imagine trading Jonathan Sanchez. Now he may not be able to. Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News says the lefty flamethrower's stock has declined sharply. Baggarly writes: "Sanchez pitches today against the Angels having won just once over his past nine starts. The Giants are 2-7 over that span. In the process, Sanchez's trade value has declined sharply, according to scouts who have been following the team. Sanchez has struck out 57 in 57 2/3 innings, but scouts have mentioned an all-around drop in the quality of his stuff while noting that his control issues have gotten worse." Baggarly says the Indians reported interest "has cooled" and that teams view Sanchez as more of a bullpen arm. Baggarly adds, "While the Giants have not acknowledged that they are shopping Sanchez, league sources said the 26-year-old left-hander has been an active name as the club seeks a power bat for the middle of the lineup. A Giants source said the team was not close to making any deals. The club has talked to the Texas Rangers about third baseman Hank Blalock, but he isn't considered an ideal fit." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4. Hopefully Danks can nut up and pitch over that error.
  5. I'd be shocked if they play this game... it is freakin pouring here.
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 15, 2009 -> 10:00 PM) No, I'm just saying that having both guys means we'd probably have to let Kane, Keith, or Toews walk next summer. Not really because Heatley will make near what Campbell makes... and you can bet if Tallon can find a taker he is gone. Also, Havlat will make what Habby is going to make elsewhere. You can bet Habby will not be back.
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 15, 2009 -> 08:49 PM) He'd want Hester or Olsen and a 2nd or 3rd rounder probably. I'd ship him Hester in a heart beat. Hester is a kick returner who thinks he is a WR
  8. Here is a WR for the Bears... Report: Marshall requests trade Brandon Marshall has requested a trade according to KOA. Our View: This might finally be the end of the line for the gifted, but troubled, wide receiver in Denver. Without Jay Cutler, it was already unclear how valuable Marshall would be this season. Potential owners will just have to take a wait-and-see approach to who will be passing him the ball this season.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 15, 2009 -> 03:00 PM) Why do they need both? Are you saying that if they had both it'd put them over the top? Because they had 1 of the 2 this past year and it worked out pretty well. Yeah it worked out pretty well but think about having 2 50 goal scorers instead of just one.... I dont know about you but 2 is better than 1. Hell just imagine what the PP would be like with both of them...are you saying you wouldn't want the two of them?
  10. I would love to get Heatley but the Hawks would have to keep Havlat as well. They need both goal scorers to be successful IMO.
  11. Hopefully KW takes a good hard look into these guys... esp the pitcher, Arguellez.
  12. Man do we have another power hitter in Buehrle?? Can't get over that smile while running the bases lol
  13. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 03:44 PM) bobby's got to make it interesting He likes that tight rope act...
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 03:43 PM) Not really, with regards to Parra. True enough but we never seen him before...
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 03:42 PM) It's called Parra and Looper. Well we have faced worse and made them look great....
  16. Where the hell has this offense been? Just think we are missing our best hitters too....
  17. Mets Acquire Javier Castillo By Mike Axisa [June 14 at 9:57am CST] Bart Hubbuch of The New York Post tweets that the Mets have acquired infielder Javier Castillo from the White Sox, and have assigned him to Triple-A Buffalo. The 25-yr old Castillo hit 262-.319-.387 in 182 plate appearances for Triple-A Charlotte this year, playing third base exclusively. He also has experience at shortstop, but hasn't played the position regularly since 2006. No word on what Chicago receives in the deal at this time. Castillo has never played in the big leagues.
  18. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jun 13, 2009 -> 04:48 PM) In Alabama, we get Mets/Yankees. That of course will be the third Yankees game I've watched this week after the two national Red Sox/Yankees games from earlier this week. But but everyone wants to watch the Yanks ...don't they??
  19. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 13, 2009 -> 03:58 PM) I hope he goes to the NL if we have to trade him. Same with Dye. Couldn't agree more!
