I think there is too much panic over this story. Everything will be found to be in order and nothing will come of it. IMO Just an agent who was pissed the Hawks didn't sign his guy

On Stuy's board they are saying the Hawks are after Robyn Regehr...don't know how they could afford him or who would go for him but I know Calgary is looking for forwards.....speculate away.

Seen this on the main board... so TIFWIW... The Hawks still have an offer of Campbell for Heatley on the table. Heatley has officially exercised his NMC and declined the Edm deal. So it's game on again! Now that the $4Mil bonus is off the table the Hawks may have to "sweeten" the deal. Most teams on Heatley's list have either made moves or had no interest so the contenders are few. This would be a wash as far as cap space. Murray says Heatley's only option is Ottawa but "most NHL insiders don't think Heatley will report to Ottawa". It could come down to Heatley holding out come Sept.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Steeger moved... but Buf would have to be the right move. If they get him to continue playing like he did at the end and through the playoffs by getting his big ass in front of the net. He will be huge for this team.
