  1. Well the momentum is now gone and the Bears offense looks like its done.
  2. Panthers lead...way to work Bears D!!! Man they look awful.
  3. Times like this make me wish the stadium had a retractable roof....
  4. QUOTE (letsgoarow @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 04:50 PM) he was nailing oney....i heard it through the grapevine For some reason that actually wouldn't shock me. BA trying to sleep his way into playing time eh?
  5. ESPN 1000 said the MRI confirmed its strained ligament....that is surprising as hell. With how that looked last night I though PK was finished for the season. Good thing for him.
  6. Man looks like Ozzie giving this game away too....that line up is pathetic. BA had to have been nailing Ozzie's wife or something....
  7. I think I would move Griff to LF and have Brian just play CF. Have Wise and Owens pinch run.
  8. After seeing that, I find it hard to believe thats a strain...I say Paulie is done for the year.
  9. I bet the Angels would be really nervous facing that line up...... or not!
  10. Who's playing left or are we going to leave it open to feel the real impact of CQ being gone??
  11. I am going to guess he has a fracture in the forearm or wrist....
  12. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Sep 5, 2008 -> 10:17 AM) Didnt someone mention 4 weeks as a possibility? We stick Griffey in left, Paulie gets hot and we hold on for a Carlos return just when the playoffs are starting. Knowing Ozzie he will play Swish in LF and Griffey in CF.....
  13. Good thing this happened on an off day!
  14. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 04:50 PM) Is Willie Anderson still available? If so, is he too expensive? http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...1,2728258.story Bears talk to free-agent tackle Anderson, but chances slim The Bears have had contact with free-agent Pro Bowl tackle Willie Anderson, but the chances of the veteran joining the Bears are slim to none, according to an NFL source. Anderson, 33, was released by the Cincinnati Bengals on cut down day. He became a backup to Stacy Andrews at right tackle and refused to take a pay cut. He had a streak of 116 consecutive games stopped last season due to chronic pain in his right foot and also battled knee problems. Anderson signed a fiive-year contract extension in 2005 reportedly worth $32 million. Money is part of the reason he doesn't fit into the Bears' plan despite the team's need for help on the offensive line. The Bears lost rookie left tackle Chris Williams until at least November following back surgery. Guard Terrence Metcalf just returned to practice Monday off a knee injury. Veteran Fred Miller is mulling over the Bears' one-year contract offer after being cut by the team following last season. Also, the Bears had talks about acquiring Chris Simms but those talks have died down, the source said. Simms visited Baltimore Monday but did not sign with the Ravens. He was released by the Tampa Bay Bucs. Simms appeared to be a viable option earlier in the off-season, but the Bears don't want to shake up the roster at this point.
  15. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:54 PM) We must never forget 2007... Oh this is shades of 07' anymore
  16. Man how fast this bullpen has dropped off...1st half "best ever" now looking like worst ever.....
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:45 PM) Yes. Sore hand. He should stop that he will end up blind....
  18. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 08:21 AM) No, you haze someone when they are on your team. Bell is no longer a lion, so he STOLE those bags I didn't know Bell wasn't a Lion anymore....oops for not paying that much attention.
  19. This team is killing me with this terrible play of late. Twins are trying to gift wrap this division to us and we keep falling on our faces. Welcome back corpseball I guess.
