  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 03:21 PM) I'm listening to Audio, and it sounds like Abreu almost hit it out. not even close, but it was a hard line drive over the head of figgins, easy to drift back and grab tho. still probably 15 feet in front of the track.
  2. Spanky with a single, Alexi grounds out Avi FC, Eaton out at 2nd Abreu lines out to LF
  3. Just watching the Dodger feed on MLB.tv instead. WORTH IT
  4. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 03:04 PM) The webcast quality is horrible.. I will just wait til it is on MLB Network wow 1980 wants its video quality back. sweet jesus.
  5. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 02:50 PM) So thankful for this. Work has been absolutely unbearable for about the past 2 months. I think this year the Sox will exceed expectations. Usually it's the other way around. i really do too
  6. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 10:07 AM) As a person that has no issues adding muscle mass with minimal effort, I can tell you the secret is genetics and nothing more. I use no supplements, not even protein, and my muscle mass/definition just explodes while doing half as much work in the gym as my friends, who do supplement. You are either an endomorph or you aren't, and if you aren't, you're battling your genetics instead of working with them. That's not to say it cannot be done, but it's very very hard to overcome. Like someone above mentioned long/lean muscles...despite doing Yoga, that just doesn't happen for me, my body just isn't build that way. i actually disagree with you pretty vehemently. do genetics make it easier or harder? sure. are they surmountable? yes. and actually I do have a naturally muscular body, it's just that I also naturally burn 8,000,000 calories a day

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 11:55 AM) The kid has unlimited power. Whether he uses it in the games is a different story. tbh I don't much care what a guy does in batting practice if it doesn't translate on the field.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 09:38 AM) Well that's about the worst argument ever. Saying "x" won't improve because "y" didn't is incredibly generalized and all together wrong. Maybe we should take each example individually and work from there, mmk? Haha no I'm not saying that - my point is, it's pointless to talk about how good he might be in the future. IMO right NOW he serves us best out of the 2 hole. But we'll see. If his power develops then id have no qualms batting him 3rd.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:36 PM) He's also 22 and possibly not done improving. Remember when Beckham wasn't done improving? I'm just saying that as of right this moment, his bat better serves us in the 2 hole IMO.

The guy has limited power. He's a gap power, 20 homer guy. I'd much rather we have a line drive hitter who makes consistent contact and sprays doubles all over the field in the 2 hole, and leave Abreu for 3rd.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 04:20 PM) My favorite P90 upper body routines are in the orig. Shoulders and arms was a great one. Back + Biceps was my absolute jam. So funny story. I've been trying to bulk for ages right and it worked... moderately at one point, but nothing significant. I bought a Fitbit Flex yesterday and wore it all day today. I burn 900 calories and walk 6 miles while at work, meaning that my body burns about 3,000 calories a day BEFORE EXERCISE on days I work. Welp. That explains that.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:13 AM) Accelerator was awesome. Thats the type of exercise that you need after doing balance and abs which makes you looks like you've gained weight. Halfway through transition week to phase 2 and I want to get the serious stuff going. So far lost about 7 lbs and about an inch off of my waist. nice job dude! did X3 yoga yesterday and it's a big of a joke. I mean it was good in the sense that I hadn't done yoga in a while, but I think that was far too many postures to fit into 30 minutes

QUOTE (raBBit @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:13 AM) Someone bump this when he doesn't hit second on OD. haha by all means do. lighten up folks.
  14. I normally wouldn't start a thread for this but I can't find the thread in which I said Avi would be our #2 hitter and I was shouted down by the masses. Just posting to gloat really. Avisail to get look as No. 2 hitter
  15. Started my X3 + Rock Climbing hybrid monday and it's pretty simple to make work for mass, you just have to use the pause button to let your heart rate come down between moves. Skipping things like Agility X and anything cardio related.

QUOTE (Jake @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 09:25 PM) See, this is why I don't like Southwest. I want to know where I'm sitting before I buy the ticket rather than leaving it to chance. I've had the best experiences with United, including a last-minute change of reservations due to delay, but I don't fly much. agree 100% on all of the above
  17. QUOTE (raBBit @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 12:17 AM) Do you know happen to know which game your avi is from? no idea sadly.
  18. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 07:57 PM) http://www.csnchicago.com/white-sox/white-...s-beck-thriving More about Beck and his off season conditioning program. All sounds very encouraging. NOOOOOO that's the first "best shape of his life" article I've read all year. I like how they used the word "smartest" to throw us off the scent.
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 12:45 PM) I like the idea of the WS champion hosting a game Sunday night, but other than that I fully agree with you. you mean you don't think Zack Greinke should have to play a game in Australia a week before the season starts!? WHAAT!?
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 12:36 PM) White Sox nation? Blah. shuddup

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 12:22 PM) I wanted to take them for a trip to Orlando this summer for a conference Im going to, but they were a full $200 more than United/AA. weird that surprises me. they often have great deals ala Southwest in their early days.
  22. White Sox nation is currently in 3rd place behind KC and Detroit in signatures on this petition. This must not be allowed. C'mon Chicago do your thing! Sign the Petition Here!

b****es get with it. JetBlue is the bomb.
  24. C - Posey 1B - Miggy (Goldschmidt is catching up) 2B - Kipnis SS - Altuve 3B - Longoria OF - Trout OF - Fowler OF - McCutcheon SP - Kershaw CL - None. They're a dime a dozen
  25. Trout for sure. But I love me some Dexter Fowler. Shockingly Adam Eaton would've been on this list too. Buster Posey. Love that guy. I think that wraps it up
