Bullpen just seems to be one area where if one thing goes wrong it leads to a cataclysmic collapse. Before Linebrink went down the Sox pen looked stack, then all of a sudden it was a train wreck. Pen is just hard to predict any given year.

Not sure if this was posted, but Benson was cleared of all charges for that boating incident. Bears got lucky to get rid of him.

The blown call was about a hit that was called fair but may have been foul. It was really close either way and right now Sox just need another out, then its 3 innings and they have a 2 run cushion. Right now there are 7 outs until Jenks can get in, thats all the Sox need to do.

Mauer got a hit on a great pitch, he struck out Mourneau, he gave up a bloop hit that should have been an out, struck out Young, and then got a weak fly out.

Why would you replace Floyd right now, hes dealing.

Okay get over that Floyd just make a good pitch to to Young here and youve got a dp and the inning is over.

Those were balls, but up 0-2 dp or pop up would be nice.

Were still up 3 runs, sure it could be more but the Sox are leading its a 5 inning sprint with a 3 run lead, Id take those odds any day.

Good work Gavin we still have a 3 run lead and just need to get focused again. After the Sox inning they had to catch one break, time to score some more runs.

Thats the one thing that happens when Floyd gets a lead, he loses concentration on some pitches. Against Gomez you might as well throw junk and see if hell go fishing, no reason to throw a strike there. Just lack of focus.

Floyd needs to attack, no walks make them beat him hitting.

Wise needs to be back on the bench. At this point you could bench Dye and Wise, replace them with Swisher in LF, Anderson CF, and Griffey RF.

God damn Uribe f***ing busted his ass down the line. I think even if the throw is on target Uribe is safe, he f***ing manned up that at bat. This game is yours Floyd. For some reason I felt the Sox were going to score 5 runs this inning, I cant believe it. Its like all of the bulls*** caught up to the Twins in one inning and it just happened to be maybe the most important inning of the season.
