Why Mike Jackson, why? He's the worst reliever on the Sox. Why not Shingo? Jackson no longer has his good slider, so he's nothing special vs righties.

Ozzie should have had Willie try a squeeze before. With Willie not being a true fly ball hitter, and the Angels having excellent arms in the outfield, a bunt might have been the Sox best chance.

Not a well-managed game by Ozzie tonight. He should have not had SS start the inning against M. Young. Also, he should have ph for Jose in the 6th. Jose has no prayer of hitting Rogers.

Crede might want to wake up over at 3b. I thought he should have gone home to get Hunter on that chopper by Cuddyer in the first inning instead of trying to turn a DP.

Loaiza looks nothing like what he did last year. His K totals are WAY down, and he's giving up a lot more hits than he did. Also, the Sox need to stop just putting different players at positions around the field like with Uribe at 3b and Gload in RF. Timo should be in RF where he's played in the past.

Ozzie's stubborness about starting Cotts does not make any sense to me. First, he seems to be the best option the Sox have for the 5th starter, a position that has destroyed the team over the past few years. Second, lefty starters in the AL central have an advantage against teams like the Twins and Indians. And finally, it's not like we're lacking in replacements for Cotts in the pen. Wunsch could take Cotts current role.

Just so you know, Diaz next start would be at the Twins. I dont know about everyone else, but there is no way in hell I would want Diaz pitching in a game like that.

You can't consistently f***ing win if your starter each 5th game is crap like Danny Wright or Felix Diaz. KW sucks because he hasn't tried to fix this problem since he became in charge of the Sox. Everyone knew Wright wouldn't get the job done, but KW kept being stubborn. Now, we're stuck with Felix "BP" Diaz. 3 games back, here we come.

I repeat, why did Kenny Williams think that this team could compete with the Twins? They haven't done squat against them in the past, and doesn't look like things will change.
