i think that if koch does start to suck it up shingo will get the first chance because we know that marte can clearly not close games out

do u think they should be using him sparingly so that the league does not start figuring him out or do u think he will be too tough for the majority of the league to hit anyway that is will not matter how many innings he pitches

well i would say maggs but with vlad,ichiro,matsui anderson,wells,etc it will be really tough. but besides him i do not see how anyone else could possibly make it unless if that step it up huge

this year the Sox are 12-6 at home and 7-8 on the road. last year they were 51-30 at home (3rd best home record) and 35-46 on the road (8th best road record). so that's about .630 at home and .430 on the road. normal home winning pct is around .540. seriously what are there problems winning on the road and i sick of hearing that when u are home you are so much more relaxed i think if they play 500% ball on the road we will be fine this season what u all think

i wonder what the record is for most saves in a row against one team 24 seems like alot to me

yeah thats why the sox have been so successful they know they are not gonna get pulled out of the game if they make a mistake or two

i was just saying he does have good enough stuff to be a closer, and no i personally do not think he should be punished i mean it was his first major league outing of his career he deserves at least two to three more outing to prove if he has what it takes to be the fifth starter
