No, the three injuries recently and those teams adding players closed the talent gap. Sox should still win the division but this isn’t last year where there was no competition at all

Where it’s going to really hurt is facing tough RHP. The lineup now gets even more right-handed, and I don’t think Burger has a prayer against righty sliders.

Nope but there’s no doubt in my mind he could put up a better slugging. I’ll be honest, I’d rather see Burger face LHP than Yoan.

I’m more concerned about it hurting when he swings. He’s not exactly a player that heals from something and we never see or hear about it again.

He’s about to be paid like a superstar and he doesn’t seem to be aging well. I was his biggest fan on this site until 2020. I know he plays a ton of games, but it’s not helping anyone if he’s dinged up and trying to play through “pain”.
