Joey Wendle off to a great start. He seemed to me to be the obvious upgrade if they didn’t want to spend a lot of money.

Meanwhile Javy has more clutch hits in a limited number of games than the entire Sox team.

There’s nothing fun about this

Timmy 1-10 with RISP on the season

Didn’t exactly play good in those wins. Got some good pitching but the hitting and bullpen weren’t good.

I’ve seen some of the Cubs-Braves game tonight and it’s insane how little the ball carries.

So true, if the ball stays this dead, the Sox are screwed with the way they’re constructed.

And maybe they should have fixed the obvious flaws in the offseason instead of severely wasting money on non-essential players

They look like a bad travel team.

Robert getting hurt running to first in his first AB as they rush him back. Even hearing today he still feels some discomfort makes me wonder what the fuck they’re thinking playing him tomorrow.

Wtf? He’s done great. Don’t blame him for this shit tonight with some of the awful talent he has.

This somehow is the worst game out of all of them during the losing streak.

Yeah, DFA time.

Well, the guys doing it aren’t major leaguers to be honest.

They have 6 runs with a team xBA around .200 tonight

I get it but it’s killing them. Tons of balls with very low xBA dropping in front of them.

Kopech and Cease look good. Katz is the one guy in the organization that doesn’t seem to be stealing money this year.

Leury gonna pitch tonight?

Amazing how bad this team is.

Stop playing lefties so deep

I just want to see them hit. If they lose 8-7, that’s a step in the right direction.

You’re right, plenty of time for Giolito to still get injured

Lopez had nothing on his pitches this inning. Doing a slide-step with a runner on 2nd is certainly an odd choice.

So, Giolito to the Dodgers for Cartaya and more at the deadline?
