Ok, that's happened 0 times this season, so where is your "pattern"??
Score was not 8-6 today? Scored 5 last Thursday and lost, 4 on Friday lost.............pattern to me.

I believe this is only like the 2nd or 3rd time this season where the Sox have scored more than 4 runs, and lost the game......
When they score 9 give up 11............score 6 give up 8...................pattern well established.

LOL terrible managing here for Acta to have Brent face the lefty
Why Brent = no chance for Sox..............looks like a genius.

At least they hit him a little bit...not everyday we get the pleasure of seeing the Sox score 4 runs in 5 innings.
Yes but the result is the same a loss.

Quintana has never pitched above A ball coming into this season, FWIW.
Shows how bare KW has made the Sox minor league system.
QUOTE (Jake @ May 7, 2012 -> 01:33 PM)
We're not going to be able to pull him until he gives up a lot of runs. With the doubleheader and an already taxed pen, we have to push him into getting us 5 innings at least.
Phil is going 5 innings even if he give up 10 runs.

The small amount you might gain offensively with a little more speed, you lose defensively. Its a wash at best. The Sox have to see if Morel can play everyday. They know Lillibridge cannot.
Humber hit parade continues.
