Gronk is a beast to cover. -
I can see a deal come July with Jeff. I am all for it we need a stud right handed starter. Moving Danks would be nice this summer also.

http://411mania.com/wrestling/roman-reigns...t-fan-backlash/ Reigns better go heel because as a face he is toast.

25 is enough 24th and 25th guy really not MLB quality most of the time.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, top WWE executives don’t see Daniel Bryan as a top guy who can be the face of the company no matter how much he gets over. The site reports that the company was of the feeling that they will not give into fans as they did last year and won’t add Bryan to the main event of WrestleMania again. As previously reported, the current working plan is to have Ziggler and Bryan face off at the show. The idea is to have them open the PPV VKM knows best

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 29, 2015 -> 02:55 PM) The rats are literally fleeing Wrigley Field. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0129-story.html I hate the Urinal that is Wrigley Field.

Lisa Marie Varon will be leaving her Chicago restaurant The Squared Circle. She is moving to the West Coast and wrote on Twitter that her husband and a friend will keep running the restaurant while she’s gone. She hasn’t been seen at the building in months by regulars after she used to appear often. She would hang out with fans when in town. At one point, patrons were told she went on vacation in California and “never came back”. Credit: The Wrestling Observer via Wrestlezone She was very nice to fans the times I was there.

Keith Law's Top 100 Prospects (Insider Content)

I think 3 guys in top 100 is pretty accurate. -
The booking of the Royal Rumble PPV shows that Vince McMahon is completely out of touch with what the fans want. Dino Zee: FACT – This is an easy Fact. No, he’s not out of touch because Daniel Bryan lost. He’s not out of touch because Roman Reigns won. He’s out of touch because Daniel Bryan (the huge crowd favorite) was out of there in like 15-20 minutes, and unceremoniously tossed. He’s out of touch because the last like 10 guys in the ring were “Dean Ambrose and a s***load of hosses.” He’s out of touch because he thinks top level, badass faces-in-progress should act like middle school kids who spit weak game at older chicks and say things like “suffering succotash.” He’s out of touch because Kane and Big Show, in the year 2015, are the two big enforcer heels on the roster. He’s out of touch because he doesn’t understand why any of the above might not set the world on fire for his fanbase. I love Vince McMahon. He’s given me a lifetime of wrestling action that I’ve loved for the most part. But he’s really, really starting to show his age, and just how out of touch he is with us. But then again, anyone who remembers Paul Burchill knows that this isn’t really news. Mike Hammerlock: FICTION – Don’t get me wrong, Vince McMahon is completely out of touch with what fans want, but we knew that. That is not news and the Rumble shouldn’t be treated like it was some revelatory moment that proves Vince is shooting creative blanks. Pick any point during the 2010s and you can see the madness of King Vincent at work. What the Royal Rumble PPV shows is that Vince McMahon has become completely petulant. He doesn’t give a damn about the feedback he gets from his audiences or via social media (where WWE Facebook fans panned Reigns’ Rumble win by a 3-to-1 margin). We’re all in the Kiss My Ass Club. The notion that the WWE offers an interactive experience where the fans are not just part of the show, but play an essential role in determining where the story goes is what’s just about dead in the wake of the Rumble. Go back in time 10, 15, 20 years and Vince at least would have given himself the option of calling an audible if a shaky proposition like Reigns got buried by the audience. Not now. No more listening and adjusting. Per 411 wrestling

QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 09:02 PM) So I have to be a talent to date Lana? Yes you do!
-
WWE has reportedly started a new policy regarding dating among in-ring talents, office workers, and production workers. Per the rule, on-air talents are not allowed to date WWE office workers or production workers. The new policy was made because WWE reportedly does not want the talent interacting with other company personnel beyond a professional standpoint. However, rule apparently does not apply to on-air talents dating each other. Per 411 mania

Sox sign Gordon Beckham, designate Viciedo for Assignment

I do not like this at all GB is not a good player. DV good riddance one lazy player. -
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 10:48 AM) So you are saying that Vince does his best work when there is a legitimate challenge from another promotion? Weird, thats what i was thinking and saying too I am saying VKM is out of touch with audience. VKM claims he listens to what the fans want BS. He thinks fans are idiots and no matter what he puts out fans should bow down to the master because he knows what is best for fans. Lex Express. Batista and Reigns winning RR just a few examples many more..
-
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 10:14 AM) I assume you mean he has NOT had a challenge since they bought WCW? Which is exactly my point His challenge is having a excellent wrestling promotion and not get lazy and keep a audience, which he has failed at. Pro wrestling was drawing a 9.0 rating combined during Monday Night war. Today RAW gets a 3.0 rating VKM is touting that as a great week. Where did all those fans go not to WWE, they quit watching wrestling period. WWE since blowning the invasion angle has been in a very steep deep decline.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 09:16 AM) I dont even totally agree with this. VKM needs a challenge VKM has had a challenge since WCW closed and failed badly overall. Ratings are half what they were in 2006 today. Authority angle running since 1997 it's 2015. VKM trying to force Reigns down fans throat like he did Cena no dice. The WWE Network interview with Stone Cold showed how out of touch he is with today's audience. VKM best days are long gone.
-
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 07:41 AM) I think you are missing the point here, which is that Reigns is not ready and the fans know it. This is two years in a row that he has been annointed through the rumble, and the second time around the magic is gone. He is no longer the Shield powerhouse, the anti hero. Now everyone sees him as the guy that WWE is obviously trying to put on top, and there are more worthy names for that title. Reigns may take the next step sometime in the next couple years and round out his mic game, but it is not there right now. What does it say when the Rock cant even put you over? Amen..............truly is simple as that. VKM needs to go.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jan 26, 2015 -> 02:21 PM) I've always thought he was plenty over. Hell they could be looking at last years rumble when the fans were chanting his name hella loud. Reigns Brock makes the most sense to me. This SHOULD catapult Reigns into superstardom and develop another big name for the future. But because Bryan is so over it won't happen. There will be a huge backlash against Reigns at Mania, and really not catapult anything but dislike.

QUOTE (gatnom @ Jan 26, 2015 -> 02:30 PM) It's not like this wasn't the 4th or 5th time something like this has happened to him. Beckman played again, who wants to come in to be a co D-Coor with IDIOT Banks...............Tim Banks making $400,000 a yr is highway robbery. -
I just watched the end of the rumble again on WWE Network they lowered the boos way down to where you cannot even barely hear them on the replay.

Vince McMahon and top WWE officials were said to be “legitimately surprised” at the intensity of fan backlash at the Royal Rumble PPV. WWE knew that some fans would not approve of Reigns winning instead of Daniel Bryan but didn’t expect it to get that bad. Dave Meltzer said: “They panicked early, they changed a few things. Dwayne was not happy.” Yes, even The Rock was said to be surprised by the reaction. His surprise could even be seen during his in-ring segment and post-show backstage promo on the WWE Network. Even with the #CancelWWENetwork campaign, Vince McMahon is “dead set” on sticking to Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar. WWE doesn’t plan on adding Daniel Bryan to the main event again because they did it last year. Meltzer added: “Vince feels that it would be a repeat and gone to the well one time too often.” Credit: Wrestling Observer Radio via Rajah How on earth can Vince be surprised F'N please retire VKM. Raw is officially cancelled travel ban.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jan 25, 2015 -> 10:44 PM) People complain that WWE doesn't develop new stars. How exactly can they do that when everyone s***s on things like this? And this is coming from a guy who gets jokes thrown at him about my bias to Indy stars. Easy because Reigns is not ready and everyone but VKM knows it. 411 review This felt like Vince McMahon saying “Why, f*** you that’s why” in terms of his booking. I get that Reigns is his guy, but nothing about the push feels organic, there is no ground well of support for him. They did this last year with Batista, and are likely in the same position this year. It just feels forced. I feel like Reigns was more poised and supported last year for a big win than he is a year later. I just get the feeling that WWE, specifically Vince McMahon (and good old Kevin Dunn), doesn’t know how to read their audience. The match wasn’t good. The booking was disjointed, guys that should have been treated like stars got eliminated like goofs, the eliminations were poorly constructed as they really killed the crowd and Rock coming to make the save and “endorse” Reigns felt like putting icing on a pile of s***. Every review is see agrees VKM should hang it up.

Powell's POV: An embarrassing night for Vince McMahon. It's bad enough that he was so stubborn about Batista winning at this time last year, but now he's done it two years in a row. This is damaging to Reigns, The Rock, and WWE overall. Keep in mind that this is a man who claims to listen to the fans. Damn near everyone assumed the crowd would turn on Reigns if they went with him winning the match, yet Vince stuck with it rather than go with Daniel Bryan. Sure, he can turn Reigns heel if things get bad, but that doesn't justify this move. The Rumble match was more deflated than a New England Patriots football (finally got to work that one in) once Bryan was eliminated. It wasn't just the Bryan elimination, though, the booking of the match was really bad and some of those eliminations were just asinine and lazy. Vince McMahon knew Reigns wasn't over enough h to please the fans, so he brought in The Rock in order to help get him over. Swing and a miss. The online fans who have been the most anti-Reigns since word came out that he was pegged for the Rumble win are the first people who will see through this and will continue to hold it against Reigns. Two years in a row, Vince. How embarrassing. PWnet review.
