The idea of Thomas/Lee/Konerko/Valentin all leaving in the same offseason makes me sad. : ( I never want Thomas to leave.

I started being a baseball fan in 1997, and the 2000 season was the only good season they had. I miss that season, when seemingly everything flowed great. On July 2nd, 2000, I made my first trip to Comiskey, where the ChiSox beat the BoSox 8-2. Maggs hit 2 HR's, and Frank was 2 for 2 with two walks, including a homerun into the left field bullpen, close to where I was seated. I can still vividly remember the ball jumping off his bat, and I followed it all the way into the tunnel. I still smile thinking about that. On a side note, Maggs followed that with his 2nd jack, and then PK SINGLED off the left field wall The point I'm trying to make is that 2000 was a magical season for me, the Sox, and Frank. What a wonderful trip down memory lane.

That'd be great to have him, but why get rid of Thomas and Konerko as well? I can't figure out if I'd rather have him or Tejada, because we don't need a RF like we'll need a SS, because this is Jose's contract year.

I, personally, I'm tired of hearing people say, "He's the best player you've never heard of (or seen)". Since almost every announcer says that, obviously everyone has heard of him. And wasn't he voted into the All-Star game last year? Yeah, I wouldn't mind having Bobby Valentine as the skipper. I don't want JM fired this year, or at all, because that'll only happen if the team is struggling, big time.

As far as the few guys making the HOF with the same uniform, I'd absolutely love to see Frank finish his career here. Other than Jeter who'm you mentioned, the other guys I can think of who have a chance at that are Maggs, if he stays here and continues to produce well, Maybe ( and a big maybe) the Jones's in Atlanta, along with Maddux, obviously, (Glavine blew that chance), Todd Helton, and maybe Nomar. Did I miss anyone? P.S. I don't think Edgar Martinez is quite HOF material.
