Dave Roberts.. Gammons is reporting that Boston is looking to shop him, he would fit 2 of our needs, a Lead-off hitter and an OF, leaving Uribe and Harris at 2b and SS. We could trade for him, he was making under a million last year. My biggest concern is being 32 and with health problems last year is that going to be a problem from now on.

1) The point was that when their stars went down, they had players in the minors that were able to step in and help their team overcome those injuries. Something the Sox lack becuase of KW, but I'm sure that is someone elses fault. 2) For someone who has his home page as baseball-reference.com, you would think to look at the numbers of Schoeneweis. His whole career he starts off looking like Nolan Ryan only to fad by end of May. And in 04, look it happen again. He Failed as a Starter with the Angels and they realized that he was best used in the bullpen. Thats like someone else trading for Cotts, knowing that he has failed to be a starter with us. This is the 2nd time, KW made a stupid trade for a pitcher. With Todd Ritchie being the first. I don't care if Ronny was the one that "helped" with the trade, when all is said and done, KW has the label as GM, and the blame falls on him.

I am a true Sox fan, knowing what it takes to win, and do not take losing for the past 4 years..and soon to be 5 with the way KW runs the sox. But you guys will be happy we will be under budget :rolly

Again, you missing the point, KW failed to put a pitching staff on the field in 04 that could compete for the Divsion. That is the point.

So going into 04 you are still saying that Frank (when healthy) goes into the 1 hole and Lee in the since they had 2 of the best OBP on the team in 04. :rolly

NO 5th we didn't have a 4th either... and Yes it is KW fault for no 4th or 5th Starter. Wait lets hear who fault it is this week.

Same as yours we were talking about the 04 pitchiing staff and you went off to left feild about maggs and Thomas. avioding that KW failed.. (like always) to secure a good enough pitching staff that was needed.
