Always good to have a back-up plan just in case... This is also another good move incase we have to have 3-4 days in a row needing a save. For once KW does something right..in theory.

Thats not a bargin, when he makes Todd Richie look like Noyan Ryan,when he was here then what? ALso Gibbons is what this team needs too bad most people are so stuck on stats that don't really matter.. Gibbons in 03 and before had no one in the lineup to help out, Vladdy and Riods Bonds are probally the only 2 in the game that needs no help hitting, but the same people fail to realize it, they would rather throw out the BS stats.

This is the blessing for us, the one good year does not justify that type of cash esp with one good season in his career.

Agreeed, in getting Matheny there is no upgrade, stick with what we have. We should have made the upgrade to catcher last year when I-rod was on the Market.
