Isn't he also playing for a new contract? Which I really don't believe is his only motivation, but hey, any reason for a SOX player to play harder is a good reason.

Since it's all speculation anyway, why not go for Feliz instead? He can play 3 IF positions, and he's probably cheaper.

I think we need somebody who can play SS & 2B, and Iguchi doesn't. Right now we have no backup SS or 3B(besides Uribe), do we?

So then if we sign Iguchi, Valdez makes the team? If he's ready, then why do we need to sign somebody? And what if I don't like Jr. Mints?

I don't know much about Iguchi, plenty of posters on here seem pretty excited about getting him. But can he play shortstop? With the team as it is right now I can count 1 player who we can use at SS. If Iguchi can't(which I believe I've read on here that he doesn't any more) then is he really an option for us to pick up? Uribe is going to need days off sometime.
