God this guy took a beating for just stating about the lead on the wildcard.. A 41/2 game lead on the Twins is nothing since its only early june... Anyone who thinks the Twins will just go away is fooling themselves.. We play the Twins 13 more times and if i remember correctly we had a 3 game lead on the MN a few years ago in the month of aug and blew it.. So whats wrong with the guy thinking about the wildcard.. If that whats gets us in the playoffs

Have heard from a friend that the Sox will have a new beer policy on mondays&tuesdays so they can try to control the rowdiness on the half price nights he also said that they will have no beer vendors in the bleachers Does anyone know if this true

As for Buehrle staring the 9th have no problem with he is our stud pitcher was pitching an awesome game give him a chance to finish it.... thats what is great about baseball many people have different opinions how they would do things different

Quilian is batting 167 this season he doesnt sound like a great hitter to me..Usuing your logic about Erstad 265 Avg.. its a matter of a opinion I would rather have Marte facing Quilian over Hermy facing Erstad you seem to think Quilian is the next babe ruth

Erstad is a 290 lifetime hitter with one season over 240 hits hell yeah he scares me alot more than Quilan does...

If Ozzie would taken out to Marte and bring in Hermy. the Angels would have Erstad pinch hit.. I rather have marte in to face quilan I would voted let Carl PH for Iguchi

If I was Ozzie I would have let Marte in as well. If he would have sent in Hermy the Angels would have Erstad pinch hit.. Which is one of the top hitters in the game

I heard a interview that Gammons gave he thinks the Sox& Twins will make the playoffs because they play in the weak AL Central. While the other good teams in the AL are in much tougher divisions. He sounded like he was a little ticked off that 2 AL Central teams might make the playoffs because he thinks that one of the east or west coast teams would makea better playoff team..

is 14-12 so once we start playing the AL Central teams again we should run away with the divison

out of the last 18 games 15 of them have been aganist other 1st place ball clubs and we still have the best record and havent loss that much ground. The Sox will be alright and we will make the playoffs

The Cardinals are a great team but they must be doing something wrong if they have more losses than we do... not every team is perfect

Just beacause someone who has less than a 100 post doesnt mean he is a casual fan... Hell I work 16-18 hours a day and cant always have time to make a post does that make me less of a fan than someone who sits here all day...

Every team goes through a bad streak its a f***in long season. We are still 17 games over 500 and have a 4 game lead.. We are not going to win every f***in game today we got real lucky that we pulled it out...

We are very lucky to come out with a win today... Hopefully this starts a win streak for us to add on to our 4 game lead
