What a great time to exorcise(sp?) West Coast Demons. Can't wait to get it on.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 08:53 AM) Absolutely, who knows how long it could be before we make the Conference Finals again (hopefully not that long), so for any White Sox fans in Chicago without seats, snap these up if you have the chance!!!!! Fly in from Australia...I'll give them to you for free.

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 08:43 AM) Where are they again...? I know folks who would KILL to pay that little for a ticket tonight if you haven't gotten rid of them yet. Their 147, but I'm still trying to get someone I know to go...thanks. I might get back to you. I got a guy at work here who really wants to go, and I'm going to ask him when he comes in. Either way...I'll be there, you'll be there...40,000 plus will be there and you know what happens then....we win...and we

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 08:30 AM) Read much...? "I was willing to give these to friends for face, but they had to pay for me and my girl to go. " That's $130 a seat. Seats in the same area are going for triple that elsewhere. Yeah, I just asked my buddy to pay for me and Helen. He can't make it...not that he thought it was a bad deal. Its a great deal. I was dissappointed in that. I have been trying to get friends to go, like crazy. I'm stunned at people's priorities.

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 08:08 AM) They talked about the Sox plenty... Jenks or Jose for DS MVP.. how the Angels-Sox match up, etc. They were making fun of ARod, and they AGREED that it was the right decision NOT to move the game to Wednesday. Yeah, lets not whine about our coverage...we're getting enough. Who cares? LEt's win the whole f***ing thing and then we won't worry about coverage.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 06:24 AM) Truly insane. Priorities, people!!! have fun tonight and bring home a winner! I wore my Guillen jersey to game 1 last week...wearing it right now at work. I'm out of dress code...but I don't care...send me home then. White Sox, White Sox, Go, Go, White Sox!

I was willing to give these to friends for face, but they had to pay for me and my girl to go. Way fair of a deal. They don't want to do it...See ya. I had a guy last week skip out on me for a ticket because why? Because he promised he would help a friend get ready for their wedding....by working on their center pieces. I will make fun of him forever over that.

I had like 6 people cancel on me. What is up with these folks? I'd give my right arm to get the kind of tix I have for tonight. Unreal.

QUOTE(thedoctor @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) they do make products for that. What? A cork?

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 03:44 PM) Ha, oh dear god. Northern suburbs of Chicago, about 40 minutes from US Cellular. I grew up in Wellesley, MA and my dad still lives there. I moved here when my parents got divorced just a few years ago. Cool...just curious.

And 24 hours from now, I'll be s***ting my pants again. I get too nervous.

QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 03:31 PM) Does anyone know anyone at O'Hare or Midway? Maybe we can "lose" a teams luggage? Perhaps a bus driver? They can get "lost" on the way to the team hotel? Maybe we can have someone from the mafia take out their star players!?!

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) Good post. It was literally unbelievable seeing more and more people with Red Sox apparel last year. It makes me sick, to this day. Red and White...how do you have this love for both teams? Where do you live now?

QUOTE(shoelessinva @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) A good pep talk on the mound; calling a superb game for his staff; delivering the hardest high-fives to those that produce; spearheading the cheers from the bench, behind the plate, or as he circles the bases; never being afraid of smacking down opposing batters as they step into the box; always in search of putting a serious physical hurt on an opposing player; giving an earfull to a player who performs well under expectations... the list could go on and on. It simply describes the attributes of the best off-season move that Kenny Williams made before the season - acquiring a LEADER, one who inspires, motivates and goes above and beyond what his paycheck asks to bring a victory! And that, my faithful friends, is what AJ Pierzinski means to this team. We'd be lost without him. So thank you KW and thanks to AJ for commanding these troops so efffectively! We would have been fine with Ben Davis :rolly I wouldn't call him the MVP, but he would be 1 of many. This team is full of great, team players, like AJ.

QUOTE(skidoochic @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) I did not mean it like that. I am in school and in class from 8:00am-6:30pm (scheduled) every day. I don't have access to the internet except during these breaks. I understand that there is internet in OK. Sorry to offend. I certainly didn't mean it! they have internet, but what about teeth? Ok, sorry.

Great Post...I didn't buy a Guillen jersey for nothing. I love this guy and want him to be Chicago's next Ditka. Not that he can be Ditka, but he could do something no manager has done in 88 years. Get her done Ozzie.

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 10:24 AM) My strategy was to watch with a full bladder as I was sure if I went to the bathroom something bad would happen. LMAO... there was a loooong ass line for the mens room. Yeah, the line was out of control. Good thing they have those long playoff breaks between innings. I'm going to start wearing diapers. I can see it now 'Don't want to miss an inning of the Sox game? Trust Depends'.

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 10:08 AM) I was thinking of you guys while going nuts in my car on Friday (I was on 95th just west of Roberts road when the 3rd out happened). I was imagining how nuts it was there. It was a great atmosphere. And I didn't get any chicken bites...Steff said it was going to be drinking and nothing else. I didn't want to piss her off.

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 09:49 AM) Jimbo's. its too bad dirty champs isn't over there...oh the fun we'd have. Steff, weren't you surprised at how crazy that place got? I was.

QUOTE(Captain_Stubby @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 09:25 AM) What's the parking situation for tomorrow night? I was told that they're only allowing passes in most of the lots. Also, how early can we start tailgating. I know that they say three hours, but does anyone know differently? The cash parking situation is bad...if you want to tailgate, and don't have a pass, I would try Lot G, which is on 35th street, on the other side of the train trax. And I would get there 3 hours ahead, at least...because I was there about 2 hours ahead of time, and that lot was full. Good luck.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Oct 8, 2005 -> 10:21 AM) College budget. You've all been there. ...tastes like paint thinner. :puke EDIT: It costs a lot more than you'd think to keep a van full of thirty-one rowdy ALDS winners rolling. Sometimes ya gotta do, what ya gotta do!

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Oct 8, 2005 -> 10:19 AM) Bought a bunch of $4 Andre champaign and Natty Ice and got absolutely blitzed. I'm actually cleaning up my place right now. Let the good times roll. Drinking NAtty Ice doesn't sound like celebrating to me!

I got home and had to take my dog to the vet..what a buzz kill. I went from partying to mopping up his blood. He's ok...just a slice in his paw. I'll have to do some more partying today! Damn Geezer!

To all Sox fans not here for the fun... ...especially to my grandmother Evelyn and grandfather Anton. I love you and miss you and wish I could sit next to you on Tuesday.

QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 02:12 PM) I think steff said that they added more seats, I am not sure thought...Steff correct me if I am wrong... I believe the attendance gets so high due to them filling the box suites. Remember, Jerry put in 2 rows of Box Suites...one above the club level and one below. Even during a sell-out game, half of those are full. The playoffs seem to have those mostly full. But a sellout does not require those be sold.
