I agree with TLAK...I enjoyed his pure hatred for all things Cubs. And I enjoyed his pre and post game shows.

Ahh memories, I want to vomit. I was at the Torii Hunter game, but had left early (once I realized my team was not going to take the division, about the 7th inning). As I got to the parking lot, I heard all the commotion and we were wondering what the hell happened. What really sucked is that I had tickets to see them on Wednesday as well, and after monday's game, I could just see we did not have the stuff to compete with the twins. It was sad to have to admit that we were not good enough and that we lacked the heart and fire that the Twinkies had. This year will be different. I can't wait to see the Go Go Sox Part II! If the Cubs did well, and maggs had a good year for them, it would suck. The Tigers will stink with Maggs...go to the Tigers Maggs...let them waste their money. I want to see the Cubs get Burnitz, that will guarantee they finish third in the division. :finger They would be better off with Sosa, idiots!

I hope this all works out for Kenny GM...he really has made the most of what JR gives him. Hopefully we can prove the critics wrong, and win the division. Once we get to the playoffs, anything can happen.

Their issue now is determing who is the utility infielder....not getting another question mark third basemen. If Uribe needs a day off, who plays short? Iguchi? i thought his shoulder injury required they move him to second? Maybe he could still spot some games. I guess we'll find out.

I hope that all these moves, including adding Iguchi, is leading to people buying up tickets. I was at Comiskey, on Jan. 14th, and the turnout was not all that great (I realize it was freezing). As much as I do not buy JR and KW saying the Sox 'Break-Even', its hard to tell them to spend, spend, spend...when we don't fill the place up very well. So lets go guys...start getting tickets (and not just on half price days)...and lets pack the place this year. Our players deserve it. Go Sox in '05!

I love the off-season. We addressed a lot of team issues. I could have lived with Willie @ 2B, but now he has competition. Now we have a lead-off guy, who can steal at will. We have 5 starters, from the get-go. We have a hitting catcher. They might get me to buy scout tickets for a game... Sox in '05 baby....
