  1. QUOTE(beck72 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:30 PM) Even if the player himself says the other guy is the better fielder, not to mention the manager who says Gload could win a gold glove there?! I'm not dissing PK, who has improved a lot over the years. But Gload is the better fielder, no question PK could win a gold glove there too IMO. But I still would feel more comfortable with PK there. And I think the org feels the same way as I do.
  2. QUOTE(beck72 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) WAsn't PK who said that GLoad could probably win a gold glove at 1b? I know Ozzie did. And I know he said Ross was a better fielder than himself I feel more comfortable with PK there. Sorry I dont care what they say, he makes every routine play and scoops everything.

  4. why oh why do we change pitcher so often?
  5. Pitch 1 - Ball Pitch 2 - Swinging Strike Pitch 3 - Ball Pitch 4 - Called Strike Pitch 5 - Ball Pitch 6 - Foul Pitch 7 - In play, out(s) recorded Chris Widger grounds out, shortstop Russ Adams to first baseman Eric Hinske. this guy is a very predictable pitcher, same style to every batter so far.
  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) Gotta love one play changing everyone's mind. one play? I didnt know PK only made one awesome scoop this year???
  7. QUOTE(beck72 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:16 PM) Gload. Put PK at DH, GLoad at 1B. eh, im beginning to think PK is a better 1B than Gload.;
  8. Pitch 1 - Ball Pitch 2 - Called Strike Pitch 3 - In play, no out recorded Jermaine Dye singles on a line drive to center fielder Vernon Wells.
  9. Pitch 1 - Called Strike Pitch 2 - Ball Pitch 3 - Called Strike Pitch 4 - Ball Pitch 5 - Foul Pitch 6 - Swinging Strike Aaron Rowand strikes out swinging.
  10. Pitch 1 - Ball Pitch 2 - Called Strike Pitch 3 - Called Strike Pitch 4 - Ball Pitch 5 - Ball Pitch 6 - Foul Tip Paul Konerko strikes out on foul tip.
  11. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:12 PM) They may not want to do it, but if Everett gets hurt they might decide that's their best option. Who else do we have that they could call up if Everett truly is down? Borchard? Borchard is a logical choice, although if they really are trading him, I would not showcase him as he is at maximum value as is.
  12. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:10 PM) Mark my words. If Carl Everett needs a DL trip, Anderson WILL NOT be the call up. The one move they could make is to 60 day DL Frank to open up a spot, but it doesn't seem like they want to do that, or they would have already. They WILL do that to Frank eventually to free up an additional spot. I would like them to bring up Anderson, but we all know it wont happen. I just think he gives us a little more to work with defensively than Gload who is basically a DH/1B
  13. Pitcher Change: Jason Frasor replaces Dustin McGowan.
  14. Fastest man dragging a 100lb spare tire I've ever seen.
  15. Pitch 1 - Called Strike Pitch 2 - Ball Pitch 3 - Ball Pitch 4 - Swinging Strike Pitch 5 - Foul Pitch 6 - Foul Pitch 7 - In play, out(s) recorded Reed Johnson pops out softly to second baseman Tadahito Iguchi.
  16. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:06 PM) The 40 man roster is full, and Anderson is not on it. bye bye Borchard though
  17. QUOTE(knightni @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) Cotts would never make it through waivers. JK dude
  18. one bad pitch and he gets yanked. WTF? I know he wants to put the guys in positions to succeed, but come on. Maybe Neal just got traded???
  19. Hey Ozzie, Neal is tougher on RH hitters anyway!!!!
  20. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 03:02 PM) I get the funny feeling that Borchard would get called up before Anderson. Yeah, IN San Diego
  21. I like Gload and all, but this season he is one-dimensional defensively, and hasnt hit all that well anyway when he has been brought up. I think we need to go with someone else who can play more than 1B and DH
  22. Pitch 1 - Ball Pitch 2 - In play, no out recorded Russ Adams doubles (15) on a fly ball to right fielder Jermaine Dye.
  23. Pitch 1 - Ball Pitch 2 - Called Strike Pitch 3 - Foul Pitch 4 - Ball Pitch 5 - Foul Pitch 6 - In play, out(s) recorded Orlando Hudson grounds out, shortstop Geoff Blum to first baseman Paul Konerko.
  24. I dont think they like Gload. I want to see Anderson instead. Because he can at least play the OF
