I still don’t feel sorry for him. Bauer is a moron. Why is he hanging out with these jock chasers in the first place?
Of course he's a moron. Baseball is full of morons. AJ, Crede, Brian Anderson and Aaron Rowand spent their entire Sox tenure drunk, sending dick pics and doing massive amounts of coke in Lakeview. That doesn't mean that Bauer shouldn't sue the league.

Can he sue MLB? This cost him hundreds of millions.

He’s a platoon bat IMO
I'd like to see him fight Jake Burger.

Or make some adjustments to his leg kick, which has been taken advantage of by righties since he came to the majors
1700 PA's. He's just not a major league hitter.

What's he supposed to do? Try harder? Grind more? Run through some walls?

Vaughn needs to told he is playing for his starting position next year. Can’t have a 1st baseman with that bad of stats.
I'm sure he's well aware that he's been a failure and his career is slipping away.

I don't think the players or Getz "deserve" to be embarrassed. Getz is taking over a team that refuses to spend money and it's coming off a failed rebuild where nearly all the assets lost their value on the trade market. He has very little to work with.
Even Grifol is being paid to be a punching bag while knowing this is his only shot at being an MLB manager.

I just don't see him in the top 10 of anything. Horrible trade got him here.
The real Jake Burger is a 28 year old, .750 OPS, below average defender. Even if he wasnt traded, he wouldn't have been on the team by the time the Sox are ready to compete. He was worth a lottery ticket starter. If it doesn't work out, it's still not a bad trade.

I can't figure out how Thorpe projects, but after watching his change up over dozens of hitters, it's the best pitch that's came through the Sox system since Sale's slider. There's multiple variations of the pitch, and they're all nasty. He can make it tail or sink based off the match up. Originally, I compared him to Radke, but I also see a lot of RH Jose Quintana.
I'd also rank Cease's 4 seamer up there. It's the heaviest 98 you'll ever see.

F-$@ you...you act like we are supposed to worship Sox minor leaguers unconditionally.
They haven't come close to earning that privilege.
Last year, didn't we also have the worst combined minor league winning percentage in baseball???
Well, Charlotte has the same exact record as the major league team right now.
Getz is a joke. So are the White Sox, to the rest of MLB. We're just a complete and total punch line right now...the new feeder team for the rest of MLB. It might be even more embarrassing than the A's situation if Crochet also gets injured again this year out of a desire to impress the fans like they tried to pull with Liam Hendriks last year.
We're not even as competitive as those old Washington Generals teams that lost to the Globetrotters every night.
Please stop your obsession.
I missed part of this. After the Tatis trade, you took it upon yourself to rub it in our faces for multiple years and actively become a Padres fan. I don't think there's a poster on the board who doesn't acknowledge that the Sox are a trash franchise that's run as poorly as any franchise in the history of sports. Reminding everyone while you fellate the Padres and Tatis is just an asshole move. Now you're trying to do the same with the Orioles system and the Cease trade. It's just pathetic.
Lip openly rooted against the Sox in 05. He's just a miserable dude and Sox fans already have to endure enough misery just by following the team.
I actually love Fathom as a poster, but sometimes he really needs to read the room.

Weird, I work for a Fortune 500 company and we still have a mailroom at our headquarters 🤷♂️
According to me, mailroom employees are down 94%* over the last 10 years.

If you guys could keep the incessant whining out of the Future Sox board, that would be great. Last night's thread was ruined on what was a good night for a lot of our prospects.

He’s an internet tough guy who rarely has any baseball content in his posts. He probably works in a mail room thinking he should be CEO. He comes here to critique posts.
How dare any Sox fan come to a Sox message board and complain just because a team has won 62 of its last 170 games in what was promised to be a championship window.
Just a head's up, offices no longer have mailrooms. It's 2024.

Oh crap, Caulfield is Getz? That explains trading Cease to the Padres.
Creepy Caulfield gushing over them is like a curse. It happened to Puig, Tatis, and the Padres.

I’ve been in these minor league threads for almost a decade. Criticizing Kanny’s roster is now considered unpleasant? Give me a break.
Maybe you could contain the nonstop b**** fest to the MLB board and give some respite to those who just want to follow the minor leagues? It's 14 year old edge lord s%*#.

Where does he say anything about enjoying this s%*# show? Many of us are/were informed enough to realize the team was going to be dreadful before the season actually started. It's playing out like many of us expected. We just don't feel the need to whine and complain about it like a petulant child ad nauseum every 10 minutes.
Lip is now one of the biggest contributors to this board. Year's ago, a lot of us left WSI to get away from the Lip's of the world. The change to b**** culture on this board is to be expected. I was hoping they would stay away from the Future board, but now Caulfield's creepy ass is spending hours nutting in his own face over the Orioles AAA team.

Is it too much to ask for you to keep this bullshit in the big league threads?
Thank you. This thread turned to s%*# when Caufield, Fathom and that other person with anime pic came over. The first couple pages were pleasant.

I like to read the game thread without watching the game or checking the box score. It's impossible to tell what's happening.

You know your team sucks when there's multiple pages of people arguing about Jose Rodriguez and Cristian Mena.

Crochet's pitched 79 innings in 4 years and Kopech has been a bigger disappointment than Moncada. Maybe we should wait more than 5 games before having this discussion.

No matter whether he was innocent or not of the allegations re-signing Clevinger doesn't suggest the 'new start' and 'new attitude' that Getz has been big on over this closed season. Considering the WS will not be winning or contending anyway this season signing a player with this sort of baggage who is not exactly going to transform the team is needless.
Doesn't that depend on whether Clevinger was a good teammate? He's been around and had a lot of success.
Will any team give Trevor Bauer a last shot?

I feel like Bauer got fucked because he's a hipster jock that doesn't like other jocks, and he wasn't scared to call MLB out on their s%*#.
